I love this song, my wife suffered from a liver disease, and I had to care for her in-between her months in hospital, she used to cry everytime I played this song, were married for 46 years, met at school, buried her on 25th October 2023, my body is here, but my heart is buried, thanx Al, still addicted to your voice and music

My daddy loved Al Green, he passed away when I was 10, I didn't know this song existed until now 14 yrs later. Before he died he turned his life over to Jesus a year or so after that I watched him have a heartattack and there was nothing I could do to save him, I feel like this song could be as a remembrance for loved ones , a wedding and a love song to Jesus.. this one really brings tears to my eyes, Jesus thank you for your sweet love ❤️ 😪

I just played this around my grandmother while cleaning the yard. Went on the porch and she was wiping tears away. Now for as long as it takes I will work on me being happy with me then only then I will be able to love.
