I do beleieve that they are high fire, cone 9-10 but it is called Keraflex Porcelain. You buy sheets and some you can add water and wrap, roll, tear and score and slip. I have not seen and altered pieces fired, only flat and basic examples that the company sends in a sample pack. Best regards
