    Good presentation, i,m from new Brunswick and i,m new to coyotes snaring. Last week I caught a nice fox .but love snaring still a lot to learn thanks for the info

    Good info thanks! Im just getting into snaring this year. Still trying to figure out how to make break away snares and what to use for relaxing locks(they are the law here)

    Thanks for the video, very helpful information. Quick question would you alter the height of the snare if there was some brush or something overhead that would cause the bigger animals to duck under? Also if your not on level ground, say on a bank, how would you change the measurements?

      great question and the answer is yes, stay tuned for the next couple weeks i have a great video on just that. for a duck under set i put the bottom of the loop half way between the duck stick and the ground.
      and on a slope i try and split the difference...

    Rule of thumb is set snare height equal to loop diameter
    10" loop means 10" off the ground and so on

    . tossed on snaring seen a buddy of mine catch a few deer and I'm torn on that I deer hunt.

      simple fix, any area with deer, i use a breakaway snare....the force of a deer pulls the snare apart and they are free, i loose a snare, but the deer is un-harmed
