I saw B B King at Michigan State University around 1973. I was 16 years old I remember the venue was sold out and he gave a great concert. That was 50 years ago.
This may upset most of you but I was there. I was treated by my best buddy Nobby for my birthday. Though I had many of his records such as Live at the Regal and Deuces Wild, nothing prepared me for being so completely overwhelmed by his skill, his technique, and most of all feeling every note as if it was a precious gem of priceless worth. An unbelievable artist.

Also acouple days ago, I started googling videos of B B performing his hit, ALL OVER AGAIN, and I found your posted video, "B B King All Over Again- Live Tokyo 1989." This is NOW my number one video of Mr King, bc he poured all his soul in it. It's such a beautiful masterpiece, I can't stop watchinging it! Technically - not spiritually, soulfully, etc. - but TECHNICALLY, he is the greatest lead blues guitar player that ever was. Technique is knowing what notes to play and when. The rest is superficial.
Larry Carlton once said, "young folks just listen to bb's playing, if you play and bb not, you are wrong"
