Yes it seems that these natural remedies are good for humans and dogs..maybe even the home cooked food for dogs will be good for us with just some seasoning for humans.

Wow! I didn’t know why they had these patches. My dogs tail is black and the hair is missing. It was like that when we got him last year. But the bald area seems the be spreading. Is there something I can do to prevent more hair loss and possible reverse it??

You need a base that's going to keep the coconut oil solid. If you just use it by itself it can be licked off and won't work properly. I'd use it exactly as Dr Jones has prescribed.
My German Shephard paw pads are so ruff it’s sharp and will cut you, he runs hard and plays harder, he’s in his prime right now but he loves sleeping in bed with me. I’ve been trying to figure out how I can get his paw pads to soften a little bit or have the dry skin come off without hurting him or making his life lesser . At your local health food/herb store. Yes, they should have the bee's wax granules/chips too. If not, they usually have bee's wax in solid blocks(various sizes)and you can grate it. 😉❤

Looks like your dog has hygroma, not calluses...follow up,please,as its can be infected....my dog got surgery to remove it and then it was drainage for few weeks .all is ok now.

I apply turmeric power couple of the times during the day . It helps to avoid infection . If it get dry i apply coconut oil .
I've been using just the shea butter for years- works great. I suppose the castor oil would make it less appealing to be licked off though.
Organic castor oil has no taste and is good for a lot of pet ailments. 🙂

YES. Please get her to the vet, sounds like a pyometra, a deadly infection of the uterus.
