- IT SNOWED! Ok not much, but this is a good amount of snow for London UK. It only lasted half a day but it was so magical to see. This is the first time it's snowed in a few years in the city, and actually laid. Come with me to a trip to Primrose Hill to see everyone sledging down the big hill. Was so fun! sledge 🛷⛄❄

Just lovely. As you said - magical. And to hear all the laughter. Today I learned a new phrase - “ do not focus on the things you cant do, focus on what you can do”. London is extra pretty when covered in snow :) i live in central Canada and we have snow from November till end of April.
I never thought of whipping out an umbrella when it’s snowing. That’s a great idea. 💡I usually just pull up my hood. London looks good in the snow. I think it’s all the fancy old buildings. 😄

I am amazed at how many people are out in the park for what appears to be a 1-2" snowfall! I guess when it is a rare occurrence it is a big deal.

Snow always reminds me of my childhood days in Kent, when it snowed most winters. Then when my grandsons were small it was always me that made the snowman, not their Grandpa haha. So when it started to really come down on Sunday morning,I donned my old togs, went into the garden and built a snowman. The family all loved it - everyone's spirit was lifted. Thank you Lord x

Great video! Really good choice of music as well! It certainly stirs the emotions for me when witnessing snow falling in London. A totally different perspective of London ~ & how people, especially young families, respond to the snow. I can imagine that vibe on Primrose Hill. Sir Macca lives around those parts. I can just imagine him out in his back garden singing, 'I wanna hold your hand' ~ to a freshly built snowman! Lol :)

All the shops are closed apart from essential food and medical.. so when it's open I will for sure! Hopefully April! My coat is from Canada Goose x

Hello Hannah. I can remember snow in London after 2000. while I was still there. Must have been in mid-January as we were always home in the South West for Christmas. Montague Square W1. & trees were covered & York St. & area to Baker St. & the Sherlock Hotel & yes magical at night. Double ' single malt ' was much appreciated at the Holmes. Saw a ' fox ' on the Square which was amazing - probably came from Regent's Park. Bless Badger.

I live in Philadelphia, this reminds me of our Art Musuem steps that we slide down during snowfalls. These are the Rocky steps from the movie. But its utterly amazing just like you're experiencing! Who cares about C when you're having that much fun!😊

I am here 3 yrs after you posted. This park is so much fun on a snow day. I live in Florida and it felt 110 F/ 43 C today so this was a nice chill. hugs
Hannah, this is my first video of yours I've seen and I found it really fascinating, it was like a painting by Pieter Bruegel come alive. And the people are dressed just the same as 400 years ago :) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_Landscape_with_Ice_skaters_and_Bird_trap I'm an Aussie ( it's summer here) and we do get snow in some mountains, but never in our cities -- so I've never seen anything like this!
Just BTW, "sledging" has a very different (and negative) meaning in Australia! for a moment I thought you had video'd an ugly incident LOL! Here we would say "tobogganing". Not "sled" either, that would imply an Arctic-style dog sled.
Was so great to see Primrose Hill in the snow - and people sledding down it! I filmed going to Hyde Park, no sledding there, but some very elaborate snowmen! I also noticed that people seemed to be in really good spirits due to the snow - was nice to see the excitement and happiness.

In the Swiss lowlands (Lucerne) we have that once or twice every „normal“ Winter ❄️…
But we can go up the Mountains to Ski or just enjoy the Snow 😀.
