But the problem with a statement like that is that there's no possibility to disagree with it.
If someone genuinely is not argumentative, even if they say "no" it can be used as evidence of argumentativeness.

MatPat from Gametheory did that and it had an INCREDIBLY interesting outcome from it. It doesn't have to do with Hatfilms but if you find the idea of seeing what different types of RUclips communities of viewers think like in broad terms... have a look at it.
It's the same test, the name of it is "Myers Briggs test" - it's considered to ACTUALLY be a legitimate functional personality test as people may not be confined exactly to what they get, but rather actually fulfill these categories quite nicely.
I'm rambling on, but I recommend heading over to GameTheory and having a look at the video. Quite interesting.

I did a psychology paper on Jung / Myer Briggs and this is what the traits basically mean (ppl often get this wrong):
E/I: NOT ABT SOCIAL TENDENCY. It’s: Do you think outwardly or inwardly? I.e. if someone is lecturing on a topic do you nod in agreement (extroverted) OR do you think in agreement inwardly, without any outward expression of that agreement?
N/S: Do you read in between the lines & try to understand people’s underlying motivations (intuitive) OR do you analyse things as they are in the present, based only on what you take in with your senses (sensing)
F/T: Logical (thinking) OR emotional (feeling)
J/P: NOTHING TO DO WITH JUDGEMENT. Organised (judging) OR Disorganised (perceiving)
I thought Trott would be ENFJ
    Ross would be INFJ
    smith would be ENTP
Makes sense why I love watching you guys as an ENFP. I’d make a guess most of your subscribes are N’s. Apparently N’s are rarely friends with S’s so you should get your best mates to try this quiz and see!

Ohh Ross, I'm INFP too but then T not A, I never would have guessed it though. You are so different from me, at least that is what I assumed from your on-camera personality. INFP like to stay inside their heads and only come out on occasion or towards people who we feel strongest towards. It's also dependent on your upbringing a lot. I've been emotionally and socially stunted which made certain aspects of INFP worse. Like I've developed a personality disorder that I'm currently in therapy for, it's been developing since early childhood and I'm now 28 so it is going to be a tough ride breaking through destructive habits. You guys never fail to put a smile on my face though, so I found it worth to subscribe to you guys in the hopes that you will not abandon RUclips, it is my favourite video platform and I hope you get to stay and do your awesome things.
Not surprised by Alex's personality nor Trott's. My SO is advocate too, the most frustrating part is that he never takes sides and is incredibly indecisive. The nice thing is that he always takes my opinions and advice and uses it to make his (eventual) choices.
The personality test is an interesting thing, it is flawed of course (INFP are supposed to be giant optimists but I am a giant pessimist and cynic) but there is certainly truth in there. It is good information to learn how some personalities work. Good video boiks, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I feel like Smith is the ultimate devil's advocate, I do see Trott as a protagonist, I found Ross difficult, so difficult that I took the test as if I were Ross you came up as an advocate which I could see but you also appear to be the more natural leader of the group. It categorised me as a campaigner, there was some stuff I agreed with like that I am "adept at steering conversations towards their desired subjects in ways that feel completely natural and unforced", so, basically one of my strengths is I find manipulating people easy, i'm surprised it's listed as a strength. Yaaaaay Myers Briggs personality types! Trott and Ross I would have a more difficult time with, but Smith I actually have had pegged as an ENTP or an ENFP for a long time now.
I'm an INFP, my old best friend was an ENFP and was very similar to Smith. Constantly playing devil's advocate. My friend didn't really care about issues or politics, he just liked arguing and trying to dismantle other people's beliefs or values by poking holes in whatever he could.
For Smith, while there are some similarities, I think he's a much more developed and mature about it all and to him with infinite possibilities and varying opinions, he's just more interested in truth.
It's really interesting to me because I'll often find myself agreeing with some of Smith's extreme statements or intrigued by his polarizing opinions.
I think I identify more with Ross, and empathize most with Trott.
One thing though that I'm extremely interested in is your guys' varying areas of expertise. For example it's been shown in these videos that Trott is more skilled with Photoshop and After Effects. To my knowledge, Ross is more of a camera/photography buff, and Smith flies drones and does a lot of practical things.
I worked for a small, but very capable video design firm, and it's really fascinating for me to see and understand your processes, methods and preferences.
I had a video idea that is slightly dependent on you three all having proficiency in adobe programs in general. Similar to how you would have 3 people making things in photoshop, you could have a short video contest of sorts. I don't know if there's a way to do that with after effects in an entertaining way, but for every project I did in premiere I would make a "memes" sequence and over the course of editing videos for the project I'd always end up with a few amusing things there. :3
    Cheers lads

Smith's "Debator" was pretty accurate, though I'd say he's less abrasive than the type description. I thought "Protagonist" worked really well for Trott, he's more of a "doer" and likes just seeing what happens as a result of his actions. Is there an "introverted leader "? Since that would make the most sense for Ross, he frequently mediates between Smith and Trott and brings their ideas to life.

If you wanted to know I’m a logician personality type, the same as Einstein, Bill Gates, Isaac Newton and such. And I found this really intriguing and helpful to understand more about why I do the things I do. Anywho you guys are my favorite thanks for doing what you guys do.

I see Ross as the mediator and some what because of that also the "commander" or spokesman of the group in a way. In a subtle way. The voice of reason in amongst the chaos. Smiths personality is on point as the debater. And Chris Trott... Definitely a feeling type more artistic/expressive. Smith likes to take the positions of different perspectives and opinions/believes very strongly and somewhat personally and then paradoxically also actually doesn't really care to identify with any position he is taking. Trott kind of feels out discussions and offers intuitive ideas as moments of inspiration. All the while Ross is like the rational observer of whats going on making sense of the various ideas being thrown around and offering impute that may be a more balanced perspective of the situation in consideration of all the various thoughts expressed.. And all the while we grow and learn how to be ourselves more and more and more... But I see this as more of like a hive mind where each of them can take the position of different personalities/perspectives at different times - blending their personalities and perspectives to create the art we know today as hat films. These guys need a million subscribers, but they may be too out of the box... They are really funny. :)

Very interesting to see you guys doing this test, and in a funny way too, haha. Done it a few times and nerded out on the science behind and related theories. (Before anyone says anything, yes I know it's not the most accurate nor really up to date and such, but it's fun).

I did the form out of curiosity, it's strangely accurate at times.
Intrestingly I, like Trott, got Advocate which is supposedly extremely rare.

interesting video lads. For the record, I've taken that test multiple times. I've gotten the advocate everytime, but it doesn't sound like me. I sound far more like the architect. Not sure what to make of that, but there it is

the percentages are just based on the sliding scale, its not bound to that personality type. also there's a lot more to personality typing and meyers briggs isnt looked upon favorably in the personality science community
