There's a deleted scene from the Monster in the Lake episode again where Nick is discussing a case with her and it just seems so normal between them and it must be great for him to be able to use her as a 'sounding board.' Imo there just weren't enough scenes with them as a couple in the loft both as lovers but also as soul mates showing the bond and trust between them growing and developing even down to the fact that at some point she knows about the stick but there's no scene not even a deleted scene, certainly not one that I've found, showing how she finds out
@@lisaodom2756 They deleted all the best scenes between them that showed Nick wanted his relationship with Adalind just as much as she wanted it with him!!! Yes instead of showing us him telling her about the stick, we got a throw away line about it, No they were too busy focusing on J/E making the stupid decision of going into the mirror. I still can't believe they spent an entire episode on J/E being in the hospital and left Claire/Adalind completely out of the episode!!! Ridiculous!
This is why Adalind was perfect for him. Juliette always acted like his Grimm duties were something that was a bother she wanted him to give it all up and just pretend that world never existed but Adalind knew it all and accepted it she was the perfect partner for him helpful and supportive
I'm kind of glad they built their reltionship up gradually. And not starting out with either being physcially attracted to each other and shy flirting or anything. Small baby steps. Here, Adalind caring and fussing over him having a good light, even arguing it might not be safe for him to go down to the tunnels. There's many ways you can eventually say "I love you" and this is one of those ways that led to it.
