Each time I see a notification for your tuts I go check them immediately. Then, since it is not processed by RUclips, and I can only enjoy it in gorgeous 360p, I go check some of your previous tuts. And there's always something to learn from, even if I saw them couple of times. Great work, thank you so much.
You're the best, nice tuts, On youtube we can count the true fusion artists fingerstips and you are part of the best og them. hope to see more and more excelent tuts from you. it's only me or the max resolution of the video is just 360p???
Great tutorial. Didn't think that this is possible outside of Blender or AE ! Will this work with DavinciResolve Studio also? (with the REACTOR macros installed of course)
Thank you for sharing ! But why with lights? SSS usually is just additive falloff ramp from edges (mostly). Why don't use falloff instead ? If you need it in 3D. Or just fine-tuned blur/mask combo later in 2D to fake the same look? :) If it's just for training purposes - it's great ! But it seems so useless :)
SSS is a shader that simulates lights penetrating the surface of a translucent object. No interaction with lights = not SSS. For sure it's not an additive falloff ramp.
