Honestly, I'd skip all this. Option 1) replace the hard drive or SSD that it came with. Option 2) use the BIOS to invoke the SATA or NVMe tools to wipe the disk entirely. Option 3) use Windows Reset to wipe and reinstall Windows while retaining an existing activation.
