The difficulty spike between Very Hard 3 and Ex 1 is absolutely crazy! What were they thinking? I literally just used my thunder build team, slapped on some water attack materia, NO sigil materia and auto battled Very Hard 3 to victory.
The EX1 this time is almost like the EX2 from the other summons, and EX2 feels like a whole EX3. They weirdly value thunder way too much in this game, even for power level thunder seems to be the element that increases it the most.
Holy cow, this helped so much. I used a similar team. -Red was the same. (even an OB0 Silver Collar). -My healer/buffer was Matt: With Prime Number(OB9) as 1st weapon, Core Defender(OB11) as 2nd weapon. My healing was lower at 2,644. -DPS was Glenn. Vanguard Style gear (Water Arcanum gear). Stream Slasher(OB6) as 1st weapon, Pumpkin Lamppost(OB16) as 2nd weapon. Attack was lower at 5,352. And my Leviathan is only at lvl6. Learning the pattern of the fight is key. Once you learn it, just survive and debuff like a mad man. Thank you for the tips. I'll certainly be waiting a while for EX2. I'm not even close to being ready.
Got ex1 down - thanks for the tips used pretty much same team with a ob6 maritime and water mastery costume to make up for my other sub weapon deficiencies .
seems like the people who finish it consistently have a source of t3 mtk down or t3 mdef up or both, im in the bad spot where i have only tier 2 of both
my levi is far from max or even LV10, do you think this is still possible considering I am planning to replace your cloud with my bunny tifa OB7 (which would give me both phys and mag atk boost for levi summon)
100% this was done with lvl 8 Levi, i did this with lvl 7 Levi using Glenn too you should be fine but If I remember correctly Water Tifa might have a harder time considering Ramuh has high mdef
I never realized how broken Kamura Wand was. OB6 and you get high patk and high mdef for the whole party for just 4 atb? The fuck?

Everytime i have to do a fight like this it makes me sad that this game isnt turn based and even the UI/UX sucks for an active battle system

EX1 was a bit annoying but i cleared it. But i think EX2 is WAY out of my league for now. Ramuh having 6 Lightning up stacks is pretty rough.
How do u take down his lighting up stacks
@@kasstax You can't. The only thing you can do is to buff the team with MDEF Up and debuff Ramuh MATK Down.

Did it with LV6 levi. My Cloud had lv6 water pot and water mastery, and like 1000 patk less than Octos
