Nice guide. I remember when I first tried very hard, I was getting wiped right away with two aoe attacks in first stage. And I was scratching my head thinking what just happened 😅
I can’t thank your channel and discord enough for helping me understand these game mechanics. I was trashed repeatedly by Ifrit but today no more. Without this help there’s no way I could have succeeded. Finally did it and look forward to finishing off Ifrit 2. In the end I used Aerith for healing, Sephiroth and Lucia.
Thanks, i'm only around 112k power, and i want that hellfire, so i'm doing my best to beef up xD Needed a bit of advice, and then I saw this posted. LOL! Now I know, give Lucia my Cura and focus on using Aerith. Think i'm going to run Mythril Rod over Sun Umbrella though. I think i'm good on everything else other than some general bulking up, but i'm about to hit a wall there since most of my team has lv80 gear outside 1-2 pieces. (which are 70)
I'm similar levels, and finally managed it today. Aerith with Fairytale and Sunbrella, and equipped with support materia only, no magic or ruin so on auto she's always healing or supporting, and not trying to attack.
I reckon they should implement a system that you can somehow trade the summons memories between the summons at some point. I have way too many of ifirit memories now after farming the co op....... That also happened with the watermelon event.
Thanks really helpful videos! What version of the game are you playing? I am running the android version and it doesn't show the debuff arrows that you see on your version and I can't relabel my teams?
Octo, I was watching this like damn, I should use barret then, gotta level it up, then I see you saying you used the lvl 1 weapon and I couldn’t stop laughing 😂
i have similar power, hp and party setup as you (barret and tifa over 4k health, cloud over 5k) but one of my characters always dies in the second add fight and i cant figure out what to do about it...
Yeah, I hate how guides always make it sound easy and it just makes us feel stupid, especially since I'm strong but didn't build things we need to beat these bosses since I didn't know all of this.
Or run co-ops. Co-ops give a decent chunk of EXP but you only level 1 character at a time. Also make sure to slot in better chocobos in the farm and put in a character you wanna level coz it all adds up
You'll noticed in the name of the attack. If it has a sword it's physical, if it's got a staff it's magical. His Charge and Dive have a sword and you'll notice Hellfire has a staff.
Training exp probably during cactuar increase rates. If you can't beat some in a power level, just bring your best character, then have 2 of your characters you want to lvl up. Even if they die, they still get exp after.
well you can choose what to use. I still learning to use semi , since I just use auto from the get go, and for this VH, I need to learn use semi like seriously. this is the fun part of the game
Bro I love your videos, you have the best ever crisis content here. If you could just show your sub weapons and materia and hover over them so I could simply see the build and work towards that it would help immensely. I'm a time poor father with a small window to play, if I just knew what I needed straight up it'll be so much easier to grind

What's the best way to get all your characters to level 50? That's my biggest problem right now
Run a macro overnight on 0 stamina exp stages

how do you know when to use barriers or manawards for enemy abilities? Is there an indication of them showing their ability to be physical or magical?
It's name sound like a magic attack or a physical attack like Charge LOL JK From testing it out honestly. Try both in 2 separate runs.

There are also attacks With staff and sword Symbol 😂so whats that?
How do you have those four star materia? I barely get 3 star. Is it just rng?
RNG mostly but you can get Ruin & Esuna guaranteed 3* with added materials which help at getting a 4*+
