12.30 km Airoli - Katai Naka Elevated Road project by MMRDA is an under construction 6 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment connecting Airoli Bridge - Parsik - Shilphata - Katai Naka in Maharashtra.
MMRDA has already started the work on the Airoli Katai Naka freeway which is being constructed in 3 phases - a link between Thane-Belapur road and NH4 (phase 1), elevated road from Airoli to Thane-Belapur (phase 2) and a link between NH4 and Katai Naka (phase 3). Work is on full swing for a tunnel at the Parsik Hill and Airoli Katai Naka elevated road near Airoli Bridge.
As per the latest report, the first phase & second phase of the Airoli-Katai Naka Freeway is expected to be completed by dec 2024. Once ready, the 12 kms long Airoli Katai Naka Freeway will provide direct and quick access to people travelling from Mumbai to Kalyan and Badlapur region. Airoli Katai Naka elevated road will decongest the heavy traffic and will bring Palava closer to Mumbai, cutting travel time by 20 minutes.

Thanks for the Current Update. But at the Mumbra Bypass, it would be a Bottle Neck as the Traffic will Approach NH 48.
The Merger would lead to Traffic Jams. As it will Hurdle the Traffic towards Mumbra below the Bypass Flyover & the Straight Road leading to Kharadi Village. Those who wants to Approach Shill Junction would face hardship in taking Right Turns .
A Signal is Required at this Point or an Underground Right Turns towards Shilphata.
From katai naka to mumbra tunnel should be the main focus now, the work has not even started yet huge traffic jams on shilphata road

I am guessing even without phase 3, the completion of phase 1 will help Palava residents to a great extent to reach their Airoli offices faster since shilphata flyover is also almost complete. Palava city flyover also should be completed by this year end as per your other video. From all these three construction updates, what do you think the commute time from Airoli to Palava will become (currently it takes 30-40 mins in non-peak hours and upto 1:30 mins in peak hours as per Google maps) ?
Distance will be 10 KM , travel time in peak hours will be definately half of current situation
