I love how loud and higher pitched Xenophanes’ voice is. It really gives off the feeling that he’s so fucking angry. That he’s never come this close to defeat, and he’s legitimately PISSED that he has no control over the situation.
I love how he sounds so pissed. Nothings gotten this close to beating him. And now he sounds angrier then a drunk dad at his kid. He's so angry he's trying so desperately to catch this twerp. He's using all his might and power yet he just can't do it. He's so angry and that makes the song so much better! It's the final stand. And there is only one winner to this fight.

You know what would make a mod of this incredible? If all the characters you went against before appeared, with the friendly ones (like majin, sunky, and Xterion) helping Boyfriend, while the ones that tried to kill him, now REALLY wanting to kill them (such as Sarah/Needlemouse and Fatal Error) trying to help Xenophanes. Maybe the part right before Boyfriend sing “his world” you see majin pop in and give bf a thumbs up, and then the other good guys come in, right before all the evil ones appear, and maybe at the end the good guys create a big ring to free bf.

My headcannon has always been that tails, robotnik, and knuckles exe’s turn on xeno after triple trouble, so I think they would also be there, my wish is that after majin and the others show up, bf would stop running, pivot and face xeno head on. My final vision of this mod was the idea that after bf confronts xeno head on, but before the end of the song, he sees the original sonic, who I believe was either killed by exe so he could control Sonic’s form, or was killed by exe just because “their can only be one” or something like that, and than sonic would basically say, in some way shape or form, to destroy xeno for good, killing him, and likely the other exe’s in the process, since otherwise, so many still would suffer. I just loved this idea, and wish there was something like this that already exists.
Lord X popping in to help BF when he sings His World makes more sense, because of Fate. As well, since he's not exactly evil-aligned and Lord X is more of a chaotic neutral, it would make sense. It should also use his Fate design based on how he's dying.
i saw an idea on a different "final escape" video, one with it being charted, something about the song being made for sonic.exe's cancellation as the landscape falling apart, potentially showing the mod itself falling apart, and someone replied to that saying that something like that was meant to happen, as in, when you beat triple trouble, the game would crash, and if you reopened it. final escape would start playing, but that version of final escape was way too bland for it to be the true finale, especially not something good enough for immediately after triple trouble, so if someone ever revives the sonic.exe mod, i'd think they should use this song, rather than that other version of the song
Supposedly when you beat triple trouble that game was supposed to crash and when you re opened the game this song would show up instead of the title screen, heard it from a facts video so not sure how valid of a statement this is, but it would be pretty cool though
