- We knocked on the neighbors door and the home that needed cleaned up belonged to his grandmother. This was a big clean up but it looks great now.

Only one reason why a yard gets like that. A lazy ass! Dead truck under the car port, rusting away. Hole in the roof that the owner won't even throw a tarp over to protect. Amazingly stupid move.
To bad they couldn't fix the house up well the whole property would be a mice place to live
Suppose it belonged to an elderly couple who got ,ero help from their kids or grand kids who did not give 2 schlitz!

You don't know the circumstances at all, so hush.
If there's a hole in roof , good chance there's mold - which can make people very sick ! So while not protecting this investment, the mold would probably be a tear down unfortunately.
This house was dark and gloomy, you guys opened it up like a "flower in bloom", FANTASTIC job!! Can't wait to see it pressure washed.

Your good example wake me up and I now trimed bushes a day by month for my elders neighbours. 4 yards make up since I began. ☺️
And since a month, another neighbour plus my two kids had helping me.

@@CabinontheHill : thank you for your example ! Even if I used to to propose my help for my elders’s neighbours, they were too proud to asked me so this time, i began without asking by bushes in a front yard who was so huge that no one could use the walkaway.
And now, the neighborhoud know me and when I knock on door, they accept my help.

This is a sweet little house. It needs a little more TLC and it could be someone's home again. I love to see these old places restored. They were well made, and deserve another chance to make a family feel at home.

tip!! keep dawn dishwashing liquid in your truck. if your around poison ivey, simply bath your exposed arms with the liquid on. shower then reapply the liquid for several days, the soap keeps the oils from spearing on skin. i’ve used this method for years, it’s guaranteed to work

Great, James is there. Nice someone was able to keep up mowing. You may have removed a/some Nandina, which never read the book about cutting out old stems to keep it at 3 foot tall...A little early for a Deer Season shirt, though they are advertising gear now. Mowing the clippings was a good idea. Polishing mowing looked good. With the basics coming back into order, it will be easier for them to dream of how to get repairs done. Interesting that the Poison Ivy is regarded as "a Major Caution" and snake skins as a "No Go Terror". The siding and steps need cleaning. That will be nice. Bravery for reversing the hold of the Poison Ivy. Excellent future trade of downed wood for the renewal of the chicken house. That is an unusual tractor. We get to see some good old ones at the local Fair.

Clean the siding give grandmas house, It is such a shame to let her house get in such a bad state of repair. It would be nice to fix that house up and put it on the market or rent it out to a family. Please clean and restore Grandmas house.

I may have said this before, but I live in a community where blowers, mowers and such are constantly making noise. Gets old sometimes. However these vids and sounds are mostly relaxing/calming. Interesting.

That house was built in the 1800s? WOW!!! That's a keeper!! The dirt road still existing in front of the house. Probably cost too much money to pay to hire fixing the roof, ceiling and floor. It's such an charming house. Once those trees and bushings were cleared, you can see the sun shining through the windows and really brighten the house up!

If you keep running into poison ivy and such, you need to invest in some hazmat suits! I don’t blame you for not trying to cut around it. I am very allergic to it also. In spite of any obstacles you run into, you always do a great job. Stay safe!

I want to know how can the grandson be so busy, that he let his grandmothers house, which is next to his home, sit and be empty and decaying for 25 years! 25 years! Anyway, Robert, you, James, and Kevin did an awesome job on this place. Wish it could’ve been salvaged, though.

I always like to imagine how I would decorate a home after the property has been cleaned. This is a cute place. A good bath first of all. A new front door, candles in the windows, flower boxes and always the American flag hanging out front. Great job guys!

I was sad to see the little cottonwood tree go in the front yard, but that tree could have really messed up the foundation. It picked the wrong place to grow. Nice cleanup, I'd live there!

This is the second house you’ve done with no one living in it, that has been run into deplorable conditions. I don’t understand how these homes can be just forgotten about, when there are so many who could use a break in this world and would have helped maintain it. If the guy learned anything from the help he got for nothing, it’s where giving should have started. I don’t mean to be harsh, but I’m looking at the big picture of love and giving.

Dont particularly notice the sidings when there is so much more taking the attention... but once all done the dirty sidings takes a bit of shine off a magnificent garden clean-up. So yes, a sidings clean would gel the finished look together.

Tell the guy who owns this property if that siding is aluminum or tin to remove it before he tears down the house. He can use it and the windows to make a very nice shed/ man cave / she shed!☺️
