I just had surgery to remove a big fibroid hanging out of my uterus. It caused such heavy bleeding seven months ago that I needed four pints of blood. I'm glad I had the surgery. I don't want to nearly bleed to death again.

@@jenniferb3052, I tried the castor oil pacs for months to get rid of a uterine polyp. They didn't work. In fact, by the time I had surgery last week, there were 3 that had to be removed. I tried castor oil and serrapeptase.

Sounds great! However the tea has cane sugar in it that’s inflammatory. Trying to find something similar that is organic, gluten free and free of refined sugar.

Just got my 3 boxes of this tea. I previously only had fibroids, plus the irregular periods, breast soreness started to occur just before menstraul, and I also started to get cyst just before menstrual. Since early 2020 I started spotting between cycles and just found out last week that I have polyps. I made my tea today and didn't add sugar. It's a good thing I didn't cause it's already sweet. Will continue drinking and hope for improvements in multiple areas.

@@roseyohe4066 hi, I consistently drank the tea daily for a month. The bleeding between cycles increased. I don't know if it was as a result of the tea but I stopped drinking it per the Dr suggestion. Constipation also began. Again I'm not sure if it is due to the tea. I wen working out on the threadmill daily since January and adding 2nd workouts outdoors at times as well. Breast soreness continues. I truly got this for polyp. Apparently my fibroids have stayed tiny over the years and are a non issue.

The breast soreness and fibroids is because of estrogen dominance. I suffer the same. Alcohol, too much red meat, processed foods, certain dairy makes it all worse. There are some good hormonal balance cookbooks on Amazon. The Mediterranean diet seems to be what nutritionists recommend for hormonal balance and I like that food anyway

I have 4 fybroids. The biggest one is the size of a apricot. I've had irregular bleeding and heavy bleeding the last 2 months.Will be doing a pelvic ultrasound to see if they grew. I will be buying it. Thank you! I also have extreme anemia my number 8.3 due to the bleeding.

I picked two boxes of the Dong Quai.The sprout market will have it with their vitamin section.
I started taking vitex, maca, and dong quai about 3 months ago. Now my periods are 42 days instead of 28. They're not as heavy but now it's 2 weeks late the past 2 months.
Most likely, in my opinion, I believe it's the Vitex! I heard you have to be careful with that. I'm not sure about dong quai, but maca I've seen many ppl take with no side effects.

Yep. I had the same experience with Vitex. Starting getting 42 day cycles. I also gained weight on it. Stopped taking it and now take Traditional Chinese Medicine pills for hormone balance.

Tell me if i m wrong : I ve read that if you have menstrual hemorragia, (bleed too much) and cramps, dong quai may make you bleed even more as it's a blood thinner.
If you bleed too much, one of the reason is too much estrogen and dong quai may increase it.
Perfect for menopause as your estrogen is decreasing.
I will try this tea, but it is made with sugar as a primer ingredient, then the extracts of Dong Quai and red dates. Additionally with honey, glucose and lactose. Contains 7 grams of added sugars.

Hello, so I ordered the exact “red date “ tea from Amazon and I was really excited but when I got it a found out it has a lot of sugar and honey added and it’s way too sweet ( I usually have my tea with no sweeteners added) a little disappointed on that. I was also expecting it to be a loose leaf tea or at least in little tea packets , but it’s just dissolvable stuff 🙁 I think I’m just gonna make my own like you did!

Look into a reputable source of dong quai. I took this in 2018, prescribed by my acupuncturist, to shrink my fibroid and it worked at the time. Though the fibroid grew back recently, I am looking into finding a good source of this herb again.
Also try Dissolve-It-All by Mitolife. It has serrapeptase and nattokinase, among other ingredients, which are systemic enzymes that break down fibrin and accumulated proteins in the body. I’m taking this now.

I use to get mid cycle bleeding every month to every other month between by period for 1-2 days before i had kids. It would be like a light period. I had all the ultrasounds and they found one uterine polyp about 1.4cm when they first found it. I had multiple scans over the years it seemed like it was slowly shrinking but then I had my kids so no way to really have a good look anymore. After I had my daughter in 2018. I had one episode of spotting. I got checked out and it was still there about 1.1cm. Decided to leave it no one was concerned. Then I got pregnant and had my son in 2021. Had two episodes so far of spotting. The spotting after each kid was no where what i use to get before kids but i got checked out because of my polyp history. Just to be safe. The ultrasound in end of 2021 showed zero polyps or abnormalities but the scan wasn't as clear because I was gaseous. Scan was still adequate.(that's what the result said and my doctor). I was extremely happy it was behind me, so i thought. Well I had another bout of spotting (red discharge after wiping). I got checked out, there is approximately 0.6mm polyp in my uterus again or it's the same one shrinking and it was missed last year. I need another sonohysterogram to confirm actual size again.
Currently in Ontario Canada I'm on a wait list to see a gynecologist and get possible removal/biopsy if it's still there. In the mean time, I'm going to do acupuncture and this tea🤔. I saw a naturopath years ago and she said with my symptoms (severe pms,breast tenderness before my period, uterine polyp) it sounds like a hormonal imbalance.

I have a fibroid the size of a basketball. I have PCOS and I had 2 D&C but I have had 4 miscarriages and but lost total 5 babies and lost set of twins in March 2022 broke my heart. I purchased the tea and it made my heart accelerate. I really think it was from the high amount of sugar content. I don’t have any heart or sugar issues. I wish it didn’t have any sugar at all. I bought this tea and just then looked at the ingredients. Cane sugar? No go for me.
It's frustrating when you discover an ingredient that doesn't fit your needs. Checking labels beforehand is always a good idea. You might want to try teas without cane sugar next time or look for options with alternative sweeteners. Hope you find one that suits you better!
If you have endometriosis DO NOT use Dang Quai. Endometriosis is caused by high estrogen, and Menopause is typicaly low estrogen! I tried Dong Quai many times and it gives me cramps right after taking it. I also had the most horible experience of my life with my period! I was swetting in pain for 2 days with very heavy bleeding! DO NOT take it if you have endometriosis not only you will suffer but you might also have anemia from the bleeding. Phyto-estrogens can be very dangerous to patients that suffer from hormone imbalances and studies shows that they can even cause cancer. Avoid any estrogenic herbs or foods such as soy.

Rwissam1987 - did you take dong quai on the days of your period? I take dong quai along with other herbs and they have benefitted me. I do not take them when I'm on my cycle. You should also have a healthy diet and should not take alongside pharmaceuticals.

I just found out my fibroids have gotten bigger and now I have Nabothian cysts on my cervix. I didn't know what this is - I had to google it. Who tried this and can attest that its effective? I have fibroids. I experienced severe migraine during my period that lasts up to 3days. I dont have heavy period. I dont like to undergo hysterectomy cause im afraid. The size is slresdy 8cm.
Stay off of caffeine during your period and make sure you get a lot of rest and stay hydrated. I used to get migraines but not anymore. Drink green tea instead and take the extract. Green tea and D (like 50k IUs a week) and beta glucan are supposed to shrink fibroids - look at the research tudies. I'm also doing intermittent fasting and lowering my dairy and meat intake. Mine is 10 cm and I'm trying all this first.

I watched your video b/c I started taking Dong Quai tincture 2.5 weeks ago. It brought uterus feelings I havent had before, like a storm in the uterus. I want to think that was for good reasons in all the readings. But I want to be sure it was not an issue. I do have several fibroids and was originally scheduled for a Myomectomy last March. But due to covid it was put off, and I was still researching, and found the Dong Quai, as well as some others. This one in particular has the strange feelings and I wanted to cross check that. I did stop it on my cycle and wanted to see if it should be restarted? I have considered checking uterus again w/o surgery if you think this could be shrinking them. BTW, I read alot of fertility books and also take Goldenseal & Echinacea, Serratonin, Vitex, C, D (10k), Marshmallow (to fix digestion as well), Yi Mu Cao, Xi Xian Cao, MACA, Elderberry, Milk Thistle, Zinc, Thyroid meds, NAC, Ubiquinol, Glutamine, Iron, nutritional shakes for breakfast etc etc etc. It is alot of meds, but I want it to get balanced.
Adding glutamine could be a problem. I commend you for going the natural route. I'm taking many supplements too.
