Hello, I'm an international applicant. Is it possible for me to get financial aid at UChicago?
Loved listening to your essays!
Thank you!!! I'm sure you relate to the cricket sentiment too haha!
I would love to hear your common app essay ❤❤❤❤. I’m heading to college at 48 and going to live on campus with my 12 year old daughter (we homeschool) and working on my essay now ❤❤❤
How did u have such good writing skills at 17 u sounded like a professional author or something.
Nice!!!
Thanks Mom!
Nice video!
Thanks! I hope it helps you in your college journey. :)
Hi - I am interested in doing astrophysics at one of the top schools and am currently doing research with professors at stanford, harvard and MIT. My question is this: I love research/programming and what I am doing with these professors. Should I focus my common app on why I love astrophysics or should I leave that for the supplemental? If latter, I am struggling to figure out what to write for my common app as academics is my main thing. Any advice? I do love cooking and have built and flown drones but not sure how to write that to bring out what drives me in those and how to connect that to astrophysics. PLEASE HELP!
Hey, may i ask wht did u ended up writing in ur common app essay? Is it “why i love astrophysics” or ?
I rly want to get into Georgia tech but I’m terrible at writing essays 😭😭
Hopefully my other videos can help! It's all about getting out of your mind and telling a story. :)
I'm really bad at Essays and IDK how to write one well. So please do you have any tips I can use cause I'm on the verge of giving up. I don't really have a worthy experience and love for something like you. So, please.
where is your common app essay
Can you please read your why Georgia Tech essay, please?
I'm actually not sure where I saved that haha, I can try to dig it up though. Thanks for your comment. :)

You applied to college at 16? Isn’t that kind of young !!! Good job
Thank you! And yup - applied at 16, started at 17, and turned 18 during my first year. I believe I started elementary school a year early haha :)
The Almost Astrophysicist wow same like me
Do you review essays?
I do! Shoot me an email if you want to talk specifics :)
do you edit and review essays? im not sure mine Is great.
Hey, I do :) Shoot me an email with what you're looking for!
Good
Thank you Tata!
I noticed that many questions of the main common app essay and the supplementary essay are kind of similar so I find myself in this loop of repeating the same idea. Do you have any tips on this and would you be able to directly exchange this info through email?
I definitely get the problem - I'd say that if you choose to write about something in the supplementary essay that you've mentioned in your common app, you'd definitely have to go more in depth in the supplement because supplements are usually geared towards a specific topic (i.e. a challenge you faced + how you overcame it, etc.).
If you think you can't go more in depth in one essay or the other and it's just the same info in both, it might be a good idea to think of another topic for the supplement! (You can shoot me an email if you'd like!)
Quick tip plz
How did you learn writing essays at 16?
Cuz I'm 17 and I want to be like you, I really like your personality and your writing.
Btw English is my second language and I've never written anything like that and I feel so sad beacuse I was think I'm smart and I'll get accepted at universities like harvard and Yale, cuz of my high GPA :(
And I just find out, high GPA is not enough
I should learn how to write essays and do voluntary works, do scientific researchs, etc..
But I don't think I'm late..
I'll work hard, and Inshaallah I'll get accepted.
And thank u
U really helped me and motivated me
cope
Hey can you edit my essay ?
