This video is about a medicinal plant that is indigenous to Nepal and found in hilly to mountainous regions.
Nepali Name: Gaai Khure
English Name: Cattle hoof
Description: It is a root crop found in the tropical and subtropical forests of Nepal, especially in the mid-western part. In terms of shape, it resembles a hoof of a cattle so named locally as cattle hoof (Gaai Khure)
Use: It has high medicinal value. Local people use it to cure body aches, muscle cramps, and joint pain, and even used by females when they are suffering from problems of irregular menstruation cycles. It is also found effective to use during the bone injury such as fractures
Method to use: Cut the fruit/root into small pieces and let it dry in shade, then powderize the content. Now the powder is added as an additive to normal food and consumed.
