a non-sonic game demo from sage '22 that needs respect is scratchin' melodii, it's a parappa the rapper spiritual successor [think kinda like how project rap rabbit was with both parappa and gitaroo man] it's really cute and has good music,

Sonic Infinity Engine is just so amazing! I loved it ever since I saw one of the fangames. I hope we get even better Infinity Engine fangames soon.
Sonic and Shadow is a pretty good fan game but has a lot of optimization issues for some reason.

6:57 Saying a Sonic fan game is bad because it's in the Infinity Engine is like saying the Death Egg Robot Phase 3 music is bad because it's from Sonic Forces- Oh yeah, getting stuck in a capsule, yep, It's bad, but my opinion still stands.
You should look at Sonic Horizons
It's only a framework, so I didn't have much to say about it.
Not to be a pain but I mean Hoshi makes tails fly like that since it’s like his running animation because tails uses his well tails basically what I’m saying is if tails flys like that he also runs like that because if tails couldn’t fly like that how does he run???
Jokes aside, I am waiting for a SAGE rating listing my game since it is still one of the best games of SAGE according to views.

For Sonic in Mario's mind, I imagined Sonic would be this insufferable brat that keeps quipping oneliners while doing endless boosting and homing attacks. As in, Mario dislikes Sonic and that's how he sees him.

Doom 1 and 2 have a free open source version available called GZDOOM. its compatible with a lot of games that share the engine like Heretic. It's really fun. I don't know if that fangame is compatible with GZDOOM though.
It uses GZDoom, and GZDoom is just an engine
You're probably thinking of Freedoom, which S:L&L does support
