During his speech on June 24, the President of Serbia announced, among other things, that in Kruševac on June 28, for Vidovdan, the Serbian Army will show "something new", that is, a system that has not been presented to the public until now.
As a reminder, Vučić stated on January 30, during the tactical-technical meeting in Topčider, that this system was purchased, and that "we will see it soon".
There is a high probability that the agreement on the procurement of these systems was concluded during the visit of the Serbian delegation to China in mid-October 2023, during the summit on the occasion of the decade of the "Belt and Road" initiative project.
At the time, it was assumed that Serbia would acquire from China, in addition to the FK-3, short-range FK-1000 or FK-2000 hybrid air defense systems, which are very similar to the Russian "Pancir", however, it seems that the Serbian military leadership opted for another solution.
Also, in the last few months, it was speculated on several occasions whether the Chinese anti-aircraft system had arrived in Serbia, and on June 11, the Ministry of Defense of Serbia removed all doubts about the acquisition of this missile system with a photo.
Tokom svog obraćanja 24. juna, predsednik Srbije je, između ostalog, najavio da će u Kruševcu 28. juna, za Vidovdan, Vojska Srbije prikazati "nešto novo" odnosno sistem koji do sada nije predstavljen javnosti.
Podsećanja radi, Vučić je još 30. januara, tokom taktičko-tehničkog zbora u Topčideru, izjavio da je ovaj sistem kupljen, te da ćemo ga "uskoro videti".
Postoji velika verovatnoća da je dogovor o nabavci ovih sistema sklopljen tokom posete srpske delegacije Kini sredinom oktobra 2023, tokom samita povodom decenije projekta inicijative "Pojas i put".
Tada je vladala pretpostavka da će Srbija od Kine, pored FK-3, nabaviti hibridne sisteme PVO kratkog dometa FK-1000 ili FK-2000 koji su veoma slični ruskom "Panciru", međutim, izgleda da se srpski vojni vrh opredelio za drugo rešenje.
Takođe, u poslednjih nekoliko meseci se u više navrata spekulisalo da li je kineski sistem trupne PVO stigao u Srbiju, a Ministarstvo odbrane Srbije je 11. juna jednom fotografijom otklonilo sve sumnje o nabavci ovog raketnog sistema.
