A two handed spear may work better for bears. Longer reach and you stay in place, plus you can pierce multiple targets.

man man if only this game was actually good...
seems like they followed the agenda of: how to make the most insane graphics engine look absolutely dumb because of the amateur animations used for everything, no matter moving, hitting, damn even clothes have insanely bad movement animations, the cape motions are done as if it was an early 2000's game lol.
