This was a very informative session on how to approach and support your children during emotional and difficult times. Tools used can ease conflicts and give both parents and children a life line to ask for help.

This is what I'm missing!!! Military life is definitely not for the faint of heart, first of all. Secondly, with nine children and living in Germany... ugh! I need grown up talk! Grown up talk with people that have children similar ages or stages. It would just be refreshing to hear that it's not just our kids. That certain behaviors or reactions are normal. I have the over emotional 14 year old, the 12 year old that tries to hide behind everyone else, the extremely social and organized 10 year old, the quiet but competitive 8 year old, the moody middle child 5 year old, twin opposites that are 4, a 2 year old that is objecting to potty training, and a four month old that is as cute as they all were when they were his age. Six girls and three boys, and all of the boys are the youngest! I love them all to the moon and back, but I need a grown-up play date!!!
