I would like to suggest reading historical romance books from Johanna Lindsey, Bronze Horseman triology by Paullina Simons which I loved , Taj: A Story of Mughal India by Timeri Murari (this is wonderfully written , amazing and WOW I really really highly recommend it ) and keep going with non fiction books because they are as amazing as the fiction.
