This is an Apple designed flaw to force Apple users to get frustrated and upgrade. Amazing how this happens at the same time as a new phone version is announced . Happened to both my iPad and my wife’s phone, on the same software update, same night. Turn on the device and very quickly the unit goes from 100% charge to showing no battery, and shuts off. Plug back in and turn on, and back to 100% charged. Sometimes it works then, sometimes it takes repeating. There should be a class action lawsuit to force them into correcting update bugs designed to earn them money. It’s what the mega rich do to us sheep, and we as a group, need to fight back.
I switched from junk android phones and got an iPhone. Sad that a $110 phone is more reliable than a brand new iPhone 13.
It's crazy that Apple can even do that, yet hundreds of thousands of people still support their shítty company. That seems like a multi-millon dollar lawsuit waiting to happen

After the update my phone went to 38 down to 25 percent it automically shut off. When i open it shows the battery is already drained. But the battery healthy of my phone is still 100.

My iPhone 7 Plus can last for several hours depending on my usage. However, the apps on my dock rearrange themselves from time to time. And I can’t move apps out of folders so I have to tap the Home Screen to get them out. Other than that, no other issues!!

Okay so, it was really cold outside and ofc my iPhone started lagging. My phone was cold and at first I remembered that it had about 50 percent and then it had 10. It was so annoying and once I got home, I realized that every 20 seconds it just dropped :/ but this helped a lot. Ty!

Yeah I’m using a 6 rn and it drains as so so so fast I would drop 4 batteries in like 30 seconds
i install new battery on my 6s and it drops 1 or 2 % in a mint and 50% in half hour but i notice it will be stay on 30 ,23 or somethng around that for a while almost 1 hour i also notice that it charge fast but drain fast too like while draining it stay on some point for a loang as well as while charging it will stay at some point very long so i unplug and plug back then it charges normal
i also check bateery cycle with 3UTools it shows 0 cycle i charged my batter 4,5 time in 2 day

if this doesn’t work with your phone and its like 10% or 20% just turn it off and turn it back on and it’ll be back to the original battery percentage

This use to happen to my old iPhone 5c or 4 and would only work when low power mode was turned on. It made me think that low power mode caused your phone battery to charge but it was just my phone battery was messed up I told someone this but they looked at me like I was dumb (which I was).
It doesn’t drain super fast, but every few mins it goes down for example 2 minutes pass it goes down 1, 1 min later goes down 1, and then 15 mins later it goes down 1 its uneven and odd and takes forever to charge

Hello! So recently my iPhone 6 stopped working all of the sudden, I gave it to a workshop to fix it and they said that the problem was with the charging pit. When I got the phone back, it would display 1%, but then when I plug it in it would show 45%. when I pull the charger out, it would work for two minutes, shut down, automatically boots up, and then it happens all over again.
I went to the workshop 2 times and they said that it’s completely fine, but every time I get back home the phone started acting up again.
I don’t think the problem is with the battery since Apple says that the battery should be replaced when it’s at 80% or below (it’s 85%) nor I see the problem is with the charger I use (it’s an Apple original charger that I bought in March) since it works perfectly fine with my ipad.
I really need advice with what is wrong with my phone, I can’t really buy a new one right now because of personal issues but it’d mean a lot if someone could reply :(

I have my iPhone 8 for a year and a half and the battery capacity is 88%, but sometimes I really discover problems with the battery. the issue I got is with my sister’s phone it’s iPhone SE, because there are times when it suddenly dies despite the fact that’s fully charged and when it opens it appears to be 10% but when you restart it, the battery goes back to a hundred percent again and when you remove the charger it dies again.

my iPhone 8 battery health on the setting shows as its 83% but when i plugged it in the pc and used an 3uTools app it says it has 84% so i am a bit confused and also there are times that when my iPhone is at 97% battery charge it would drop by 1 percent then when it is 87 sometimes it would go down to 80 in just few minutes and it jumps about but the battery was still good though i do not know why it is acting up a bit and also my iPhone gets hot too and at time it got slow so i don't know what was the problem and i know the iPhone 8 has 2gb of ram and it shows as it has total of 1.93 gb ram but a lot of times which i don't understand is that the ram gets so full even if i haven't been doing high intensive apps so i began to think

I owned an iphone 5 before. I got it used and I myself used it for 5 years. Never had any problems with the battery and the screen was surprisingly durable. After 5 years I was forced to replace it with an iphone 7 just because of water damage. But when i used the iphone 7 i had to replace the battery after a year because it became bloated. The iphone 7 brought with it many problems like its battery draining very fast overnight if not plugged in a charger. And today its battery went from 95% straight to 0% after 3 minutes of use after a full charge. This is a common problem and it happens about once a month. I just wish they would make better batteries and make these phones cheaper since if my phone breaks again I won’t be trying to get it fixed bc it will cost me more than the phones original price when i bought it used (since even an iphone 7 is too expensive when new)

Everybody should call Apple about this. Especially if the problem occurs after updating to IOS 14. That's what I did. They did help a little but if everyone calls, then maybe they will update the IOS to FIX the battery draining gliche.
