I can't wait to get my first junk journal ever ,I haven't made any yet or ordered any before until last night when you did the 2 hours video showing your new journals and I had to have one, even though shipping cost was the same price as the journal itself, can't wait to get it!!! Thank you
That metal ruler you are using is called a pica pole. The weird measurements are points and picas used in typesetting and old-fashioned newspaper/advertising pasteup. You’re the first crafter I have seen use one 😁 I love mine. 🤗
I would worry that the close stitching would cause to much wear and weakening each time a page is turned. Like a perforated check in a check book or a receipt book. Has this been an issue for you, over time while using the journal? This looks easier, but is it as strong as a 3 or 5 hole pamphlet stitch?
The straight stitch at 5 lenght is perfect, I don't feel they'll perforate. I feel totally safe, the pages don't budge. I have even messed up and have had to sew a signature twice, I lifted up all the stitches and in that case I would say the fear you have of perforation would into play. But even then, I feel pretty secure about them. 😊💖
That's actually pretty cool to watch! Now that I've seen it done, it doesn't seem so intimidating and I might try this! Thanks for showing how you do it! Hugs, Debra. (Daisy, I've sent you an email, if you can, please look for it, thanks, hon)

Thank you. This is so much easier than hand sewing the signatures in.

Awesome video! Question: To glue the sewn signatures to the spine, what strong glue do you use?
Hey Shirley, the glue i use is Aileens tacky glue!
Hello, I have a question how long have you had this exact machine? Please and thank you
