I'm in the process of applying for OTS as a healthcare admin. I have a business degree but I'm also an RN. I'm nervous about the pay cut but hoping to do well with benefits, and hopefully will enjoy learning a new job. From a financial perspective, what do you think about someone in their 30s going active? I'm on the fence over active vs reserve.
👏🏾👏🏾 do you automatically get more challenging daily assignments on your present job when (or before) you promote, OR do you have to wait until it's time to move again to a new job, to get an assignment that matches your new rank? Is it the responsibility of those above you to help you find the tasks/opportunities that will help get you promoted?
Hey Veronica! Quick question, I recently graduated and want to join the Air Force as an officer. The problem is I recently found out the process takes 2 years and after that waiting process you might not even be selected to join. I’d hate to wait just to find out I didn’t make it. So I might end up going into the marines as an officer. Is there any way to speed up the process in terms of joining the Air Force as an officer?
