- Embark on a breathtaking overlanding journey with me as I and my Jeep Wrangler conquer the challenges of an epic solo winter camping expedition atop a mesmerizing snow covered 9000-foot mountain. The adventure began with rain that soon evolved into a snowstorm shrouded in thick fog, adding an extra layer of intensity to the journey. The risks were undeniable, but the reward of reaching the summit and finally, after the fog cleared, witnessing the stunning panoramic views of the snow-covered landscape made it all worthwhile. Join me as I endure the elements and finally create the perfect Bushcraft Swedish Torch. Additionally, I provide an honest one-year review of my Chinese Diesel Heater, sharing insights that will undoubtedly benefit fellow winter adventurers. This is a one-of-a-kind adventure that promises awe-inspiring vistas and gear insights, making it a must-watch for all outdoor enthusiasts.

That torch!! Nice hoodie, I got mine in the mail!! And now we know the story behind the man hunting raged grouse that has haunted those woods all these years....
Haha! Thanks Mike! You should know we have suffered making those torches. It was far easier for sure. And yes...that poor grouse is out there somewhere. :-) 😜
Bell is just doing what dogs do. :-)
Very true sir very true. Haha...especially a Beagle.
My boys loved watching their grampy like always.
Thanks Becca!!!! 😊
The grouse story was great. Sunset was beautiful and the food looked amazing. Great trip, brother.
Thanks bro!!! I'm so glad I got up there before it was loaded with snow. ❄️ 🏔 🌨 ☃️
You have a beautiful “backyard,” thanks for allowing us to join you!
Thanks Gary!!! Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Man, that view was something else. Hoping to get a cloud Timelapse like that someday!
Thanks buddy! Appreciate it. First time for me capturing one like it. Haha.
Great adventure. Awesome views and sunset. Very cool time lapse and sunrise.
Thanks again Stacy. It was one of the best locations I've found to camp. So glad the fog cleared. 😀
Great intro! Also, dogs have great noses! Of course, she found the one dead animal in a mile radius.
Thanks and you are correct!!!! Haha
Love the thumbnail pic. Great video.
Thank you Chelsea!!!! It was an fun trip!
The place is so beautiful😍
I really like the morning views of the clouds rolling over the hills below!
Good luck on hitting the 1,000 soon😃
Thanks man!!! Appreciate it. Hope your healing up from the fall.
@@livingontheapex it was an August hike so I'm good now. It did have me worried a week afterwards and I was thinking about going to the doctor to get checked out (I really should have anyway).
@@agesadventures I hear ya man!
very nice trip~~👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!!!
amazing video love from India
Thank you for watching all the way in India!!! Pretty cool!
I’m scratching my head trying to figure out where you are camped. Looks so familiar to me.
I'm on Willard Peak in Northern Utah. :-) Thanks for watching!!! Appreciate it.
Got to make that That Torch!!! What awning is that and would you recommend it?
Hey Cisco!!! The awning is a DeltaWing XTR-71 | 270 Degree Freestanding Awning - From Ironman 4x4. I highly recommend it. It has been awesome! Thanks for watching my friend!👍
Great video again my friend.
I hope you get your 1000 sub soon. We are at 565 now and got close to 200 last 28 days.
I got a question. After a camping trip in you roof tent, how do you get it dry out ?
I’m looking at it since a bit but my garage is not big enough to park my truck in so I wonder how I could get it dry.
Thanks for sharing.
Hey great job on getting 200 in the past 28 days! Great question about the rtt. I actually don't have a garage as well...so I just had to set it up in my driveway and let the sun dry it out. We've had nothing but rain and some snow ever since I got back...but we finally had a clear sunny warm 40 degree day...haha...but enough to dry it out. That is the best way I think. I thought about just using a towel and maybe a leaf blower if I had to.🙂
@@livingontheapex
Good idea to use a leaf blower.
I’ll look at it in the spring.
We got a bell tent for the winter.
Thanks for your answer.
Pat
You're probably a good dude. But, 4 minutes in I hate your commentary. Brings me to the belief I know why the dog is your only companion
Thanks Anthony. I'm assuming your talking about my dog finding a dead grouse. Your probably right I might have been a little impatient with her, I just knew I was going to share a small roof top tent with her and was thinking of the dead grouse on her breath. Thanks for watching atleast some of the video. Have a blessed day!
Pretty cool footage buddy
Thank you! It was a beautiful but cold trip. 🥶 😀
