Such an incredible human
They need to name the award after him
Would teddy get it?
micah_lee any other year probably but if Alex smith plays even mediocre he deserves it
Really wish they were fans there when this happened. Rooting for him to succeed!
Seeing his kids wearing mask makes me physically ill
D T why
Bc the 4 of them are family sitting alone I wonder if they wear mask at the dinner table too? might as well at this rate. Those are children. Its just sad. I've seen pictures of babies with mask it's just wrong
D T they don’t have a choice
@@eaglesdylan7169 oh...they have a choice
I never though he would touch an nfl field again dude Really came back from the unthinkable
Right. I thought the same thing. Dude damn near died.
bruh Hes a legend (coming from a cowboys fan)
He wouldn't have gotten very far, had he not been a well-paid NFL player. He had the financial means and access to all the best medical care/treatments available. That makes a huge difference in outcome.
Everyone said he would only get on the field to take a knee... and he’s actually playing
If y’all haven’t seen the story on Alex’s leg, please look it up. This is a miracle no cap 🧢

I'm a Giants fan but I'm cheering for Alex Smith this season. His comeback has been amazing to watch.
Now we get to watch another one with Dak 🤣
Im a die hard Washington fan. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter who you root for, as a fan on the sport this is just an incredible moment in all of sports. You see what he’s been through the last 2 years and the world telling him he shouldn’t/will never play again and still fighting to even make the team. Then getting on the field. Doesn’t matter if we lost. Truly incredible. Alex Smith is an inspiration to all.
Just to see Alex Smith playing again puts tears in my eye what a journey
Greatest comeback story in American sports history. Just incredible.
Tiger woods would like a word
Brian song look it up
cole m he didn’t come back, he retired
Tiger Woods was on steroids and who knows what else.
Yayyy now we can watch him suck again
20 dislikes? wtf! Niners fan here, and really was bummed at his first few seasons. But then he really got great. And had his job taken from him, at a point he was killing it. Then to go through all else he did. This guy has heart! So much heart. Will always respect this man.
Glad to see he's back! I'm not even a fan of either these teams, but this does put a smile on my face!
Wow. Can’t believe he’s back on the field. Can’t help but respect it.
I’m literally crying. Good for Alex Smith and his family. What an inspiring man. He is living his best life and shows we can too! 👍
Glad he is back on the field
Either he really trusts his doctors or he has already decided that if he ends up losing that leg down the road, getting to play again is worth it. Greatest warrior in NFL history.
Just watched the documentary on him and what a journey and it's finally here, rooting for him and his family.
I don’t care what stadium they played in, any stadium would give him an insane ovation. Glad he’s back
This was just an awesome moment as a ram fan it was just wonderful for him to get back out there after many said he wouldn't and nearly lost the leg
KC fan here. I've always loved Alex. I was heart broken about his devastating injury and what all he went through. I'm glad to see him back. Just amazing 👏💯🎊
Thats amazing. This is a great thing to see no matter what team you root for. Dude powered through it all!
So happy for Alex.
He really held it down for us in KC, and was a fantastic mentor for Mahomes.
So happy for Alex Smith 👏👏👏👏👏
After what he what he been through with that injury , 619 games since he last played in the NFL . Welcome back
619 days
awesome, just awesome. I remember ppl wanted him to retire because of the injury and he said NO I'm coming back and BAM here he is. Alex Smith is the truth. Happy for him
Exactly what was said any other year there’d be 100k people standing applauding, giving a massive ovation.
He doesn’t get that, maybe he gets something just as nice, the same people who supported him day in and day out, he gets to share that live experience with just them.
enough to make a grown man cry
I am so happy for him
Oh my goodness, I had no idea he came back. That is incredible, I have never seen anything like it. Immediately brought a year to my eye.
So happy for alex smith. As a redskins fan since birth this brings a smile to my face. Go DC for life!
Omg bro welcome back it been a long emotional journey God Bless you.
Amazing to see yo back playing football for Washington. At the time of your injury I honestly thought your career was over and was just hoping you could have a good enough recovery to be able to live a decent life and to be able to play with your children. Your hardwork, determination and heart is truly inspiring. No matter what happens on the field you did it Alex, I know you're a competitor and want to win though so I look forward to the future of the Washington Football Team and you leading us back to victory. I do hope that Allen is ok as well. We might of lost the game today but we had a huge victory as well. Congratulations Alex! Go Washington
With this injury , i cant believe hes back !! What a Worrier , Welcome back in the NFL Alex !!
Achievement unlocked!:
"Back in the saddle"
God bless him! 🙏🏼
-Cowboys fan
So awesome to see Alex back, as a Chiefs fan we still love you and what an achievement to come back from that injury!
I’m glad he pulled through and made it back onto the field, good for him! - Giants fan.
9er empire still got love for Alex Smith.
Glad to see him back on the field doing what he loves.
💪
How awesome just wish there were a ton of fans there to cheer him on
What a cool moment for him and his family! Awesome stuff!
Im cheering for you Alex!
Welcome back, Alex!
Welcome back Warrior proud of you man keep up the good work still tougher than a two-dollar steak God bless you and your family
What a king, after going ACL, MCL, meniscus reconstruction surgery. I be getting goosebumps watching this, I really wish him and RG3 would take the field and return to their full potential.
As a KC Fan, I have the upmost respect for Alex, he did a lot to help the Chiefs and I'm so happy to see him healthy. Hope he stays safe
So happy for Alex. My man!!!!!
So happy for him. I think he's a great guy.🤗🤗🤗
This is incredible.
Always liked this kid. Tough as nails. Missed two years with a destroyed shoulder back in '07- '08 when he was with the Niners. Great attitude and a hard worker, Came back and played great. Certainly deserved better from Harbaugh. Good to see him back,
As a 49ers fan, am very happy for him. He has is warrior. So many of us will be a fan no matter where he goes.
This is awesome.
If this stadium was at capacity, it would've exploded the minute Alex stepped onto the field.
I hope that if he plays in a stadium this season with fans (eg Dallas) they give him the ovation he deserves
Wow, amazing
Great comeback story...Go Alex...
Wow I forget Smith was still in the league. He's not a bad QB overall. Unfortunately his teams suffered bad losses in the playoffs.
He’s a great quarterback. It was mainly the conservative play calling why he loses in the playoffs
hes made the playoffs like 10 times. the last time he quarterbacked the redskins (football team), they were 6-2 and looking to make the playoffs.
ruclips.net/video/whq-f7YvXCE/видео.html=f
@@vaibhavh599 yeah they were on track to win the NFC East until the injury.
Constant changes at OC and HC didn't help him as a young QB. It took until Jim Harbaugh for him to have success. If He was pair with a great HC and OC early in his career. Who knows how Smith would've look.
I am so happy for this guy
I’m a Texans fan and I think this is probably one of the best comebacks in sports/American history
Has to be one of the greatest comebacks ever.. Alex Smith has been through a lot and his family as well God bless them all and the doctors who helped not only save his leg through the miracle of medicine..
It's so awesome seeing Alex Smith back on a football field again.
Glad to him back!!!
Excellent work to make it back! Never lose hope!
There should be NO dislikes on this video, this man is a legend.
Been watching this dude since High School. Watched him in College, would walk from my house to Candlestick and watched him ball as a NINER. THE OL' TRUSTY HONDA IS BACK ON THE STREET (I used to call Smith the Honda/ and Kap the Ferrari lol) ! THAT WAS AWESOME!
Love it! Welcome back Alex!
As an Alex Smith fan.... Great to see you back on the field!!!!
Nice Alex, welcome back..! Not many come back after all you have gone through...!! Most retire and never get the opportunity to play another snap you beat all odds ....!
Huge respect hope he does well during the game
Congratulations 🎉 Alex Smith
Feel bad becuz of his injury
aint that freaking crazy the day alex smith returns almost the same thing happens to dak?! wow this universe is coded or something.
As a 49er fan, happy to see Alex Smith back on the field. Didn't get a fair shake in SF with the carousel of coaches, offensive systems, and GM changes.
Good for him, glad he’s getting to play football again 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Amazing recovery Alex!
As a Broncos fan, much love! Awesome!
As a chiefs fan, I was really upset he didn't get a ring. And I'm really nervous. If I were him, I wouldn't push my luck. I would just retire from football and be happy and thankful I have a leg
He would of got a standing ovation if there where fans but in just happy he is healthy and is playing again
This is actually fantastic. Literally one of the best humans in and around the NFL, and has an Iron Will. I really don’t think most people make it back to playing time with any injury close to what he had to go through.
Happy for him !
I love Alex smith, and I was heartbroken when he got injured. I’m so glad that he’s back, and I really hope that he has a good season
Came here to see the ovation by the fans, then the reality settled in. Would have made for one of the most memorable comeback with fans in stadium to cheer him on.
alex smith the goat just for getting the football team to the playoffs and surviving for as long as he did with that injury
This is beautiful
I’m so happy to see him play again from a chiefs fan, amazing quarterback.
Seeing his contributions to the organization, I hoped that Clark Hunt would’ve given him a Super Bowl ring. Kinda like the Colts did for Edgerrin James
Always been an Alex Smith fan...Even though he played for the Univ. Of Utah & I am a BYU fan.
Comeback Player of the Year!!
An absolute miracle if you saw what his leg looked like.
He just retired... enjoy your days eith your family alex!
As someone that plays football as a defensive end I would be afraid to hit or sack him after everything he has done to come back to the sport
Awesome to see.
Oh my god! Alex !!!!!!! I believe in you alex!!!! Alex back!!!!
glad hes back on the field
Legend
Really happy for him. From a Browns fan
It was a long time for Alex Smith to come back until Week 5 after 693 days for a leg recovery. I'm sure everyone in the NFL is glad to see Alex Smith back in action!
Proud of him
God bless you. Alex smith.
Not a single person in the huddle was looking any other way than in Alex' direction when he approached them for the first time. They knew the moment..
Never knew the full story, good for him🙏
Seeing what his leg looks like today it’s even more absurd that he was able to play on that !💯 dawg mentality fr
49er fan here.
Alex Smith was always a Class Act.
Wish the house could have been packed for this. I got chills without the crowd
