Im a die hard Washington fan. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter who you root for, as a fan on the sport this is just an incredible moment in all of sports. You see what he’s been through the last 2 years and the world telling him he shouldn’t/will never play again and still fighting to even make the team. Then getting on the field. Doesn’t matter if we lost. Truly incredible. Alex Smith is an inspiration to all.

Amazing to see yo back playing football for Washington. At the time of your injury I honestly thought your career was over and was just hoping you could have a good enough recovery to be able to live a decent life and to be able to play with your children. Your hardwork, determination and heart is truly inspiring. No matter what happens on the field you did it Alex, I know you're a competitor and want to win though so I look forward to the future of the Washington Football Team and you leading us back to victory. I do hope that Allen is ok as well. We might of lost the game today but we had a huge victory as well. Congratulations Alex! Go Washington
