    Good stuff. 4:10 or close to where you are then is a hidden iron node as well so there are 6 in that area. Just hover a miner between the last two you showed and the hidden will be revealed.

      Ah yes! I think I nearly stumbled across that once before! I shall have a proper look for it. Thanks!

    Glad to see you back at Satisfactory! By far, UPdate 8's best new feature is the hold and nudge, but I think the improved parachute, zipline and jetpack are also outstanding. Get the Zipline ASAP.

      Oh, I love the hold and nudge! So useful. I just need to remember to use it!
      I've seen the zipline being used with the large power pylons. It definitely seems much more useful now.

      @@StormhavenGamingI love how you designate this alien planet as "We've got alot of spare building space right there" :P

    ah your off to the side of the lake mywhere my normal starting point is not a bad spot i normaly put cabin top of high rock when i build where your are now coal is north west if i have the south in right direction quite a treck

      This isn't the spot that I was planning on using but when the game started us out there, I thought it would do just as well. Plenty of build space and plenty of starting resources. Coal is going to be the issue, I think. Might need to get transport researched as soon as possible and start building a road network.

      @@StormhavenGaming i did converyers in a sky bridge as on the way i found iron nodes so that along with coal made the steel section

    • @StormhavenGaming
      @StormhavenGaming  9 месяцев назад

      That would be my normal approach too.
      So many sky bridges...

    whre you have startered id say you watch the 5 or so stater base videos the spot your in has changed since thors videos so they be a point you loose bearing on the build

      I have watched a few! I don't want to just copy other people's builds but my messy brain isn't great at planning!

      @@StormhavenGaming i know what you mean it always starts off looking tidy then yeah just gets out of control tried building nice looking but far to many hours needed and even then im not happy with it more so when i see peoeple building citys its a meh built till the end of game once loose interest now as im not an arrty person needs more to build after one has built and gdone all goals

    • @StormhavenGaming

      Yeah. I'd love to build a vast interconnected factory network with rail/road/drone links, attractive buildings, and no spaghetti, but I really don't know if I'm capable of that!
      I was toying with the idea of turning on all research, all tech, etc. and doing a "freebuild" series where I just concentrate on making everything look great. That still feels like cheating though, for some reason!
