    Regata takes the lead! It was surprising because of how cautious you were at the beginning considering what they chose to use.
    I can't really suggest you a distro that is for gaming, but if you need a distro video suggestion, might I put forward something like Nix OS. You're a smart person, and I'd like to hear your informed take. A lot of RUclipsrs in the Linux space use a lot of low-level language that makes them seem very intelligent but can be difficult to keep up with, so having your hat in the proverbial ring would be great. Have a good day!

      Oooo Nix OS, you're right, I need to make a video about it! I had my doubts about openSuse and gaming, but the Regata team really did a great job! Thank you for the comment!

    Hey man! First of all i want to thank you for checking my suggestions and making videos about them. You are the first Linux RUclipsr that gave a shit about my suggestions and i appreciate it. I really enjoyed both videos, and i wanted to tell you that you don't have to feel weird about criticizinga distro or being harsh about some devs. I think that RUclips is full of people making videos mostly about famous distro's and their forks/derivatives, and full of people just presenting the menus of an OS. I think that we ll agree that Linux world is full of distro's and many newcomers feel that this a bit chaotic, so my point is that you could be that guy that will help 1. present distro's that people cant find many videos about them, and 2. help devs understand that their distro might need a lot of attention and love to become ready for everyday use, like you did with Nitrux and BRAVO for that man! I have a lot more suggestions, as i'm on Linux for about 17 years and i have pretty much tested everything, and i would love to share my experiences and my sights about, but i'm not a youtuber, so forgive me about asking about that, could i keep feeding your comment section with my suggestions? Or could i possibly find you or your channel on Facebook? I would love to hear you back about it. I will suggest 2 more distro's that i think that need some more attention, the first one is Rhino Linux and the second one is EasyOS. Cheers!

      Keep them suggestions coming! No Facebook for now. My little message at the start is there to try to help some people (the ones that would be extremely trigger if I critique their project of choice) keep an open mind. Thanks again for the comments, I'm always looking forward to them.

    I understand the comment about the gaming setup around the 15 minute mark but at the same time i feel like these gaming OSs could be a little more open about the dependencies they set up or what I would need, I was driving Arch Linux but ended up swapping to Cachy when some games had no audio for no reason and some simply did not work with Wine because of the lack of dependencies that I did not know what they were due to the error given not really saying it and Wine not really making it easy for me to find and read the logs. I would love to have it all set up on arch itself instead of relying on Cachy but the lack of convenience in the process or an actually good tutorial made me just swap lmao

      I could probably make a video that describes a lot of those dependencies... it isn't until you do an install with truly nothing but the kernel on it that you see how much your system relies on some obscure dependencies!

      @@Maple-Circuit that would actually be amazing, would help me learn a lot instead of leading me to just stumble around and run into walls

    Give Endeavor OS a try too if you haven't - It's a good distro for getting into Arch

    Another like and comment to help the algorithm, but another distro I’m not interested in.
    That said, I appreciate you bringing these lesser known options up. Who knows, this might have been great for me; but it’s not.

    your content is pretty good. may i suggest writing a more focused script for future reviews? there were times where you would kinda ramble on a bit so i found myself skipping through the video, and i think narrowing your points down more concisely could go a long way
    other than that, awesome content! thanks for showing me this distro ive never heard of before

    Bro I love this video and now I am going to have to do a video on my channel about it. Very good video I love this Distro as well! Do you know if it will run Warzone, that is the one game keeping me on Windows.

    • @Maple-Circuit
      @Maple-Circuit  2 месяца назад

      Nope, it uses kernel level anticheat, so no warzone on Linux!

    Yeah but how is this for hardcore VR usage? Talking like 4000 hours vr usage? I have been WAITING for a VR distro that will work flawlessly like windows

      Probably as good as any distro... which mean not that good ); Linux isn't a good market for VR maker so nothing good gets to us.
