Sonor Phonic Plus Gloss White in sizes 12×12, 13×13, 16×16 and 22×18
The Phonic Plus series are typical 80s rock drums used by a number of great drummers worldwide. Nico McBrain and Tommy Lee among others.
With their deep square sizes, the drums sound big with a lot of attack, a lot of volume, and medium to low sustain - perfect for the rock/metal drummer!.
With 9 ply German beech, ferromanganese rims, snap-lock lugs that keep the drums in tune over time, and enormously solid hardware, these are drums that are almost immortal.
The drum kit sold here has been stripped down to the smallest screw, cleaned, polished and lubricated. The drums are machine polished with hardware removed and appear in good condition, but naturally have some signs of use here and there. The white wrap is very "forgiving" and dings are not very visible. Of what is worth mentioning are the 12 and 16 drums which have been sanded by the previous owner so that they have lost some of their glossy finish, but after machine polishing they now appear with a satin matte finish. All badges have been dismantled and refitted with original press grommets. Two badges on rack toms, one badge on the floor tom, and no badge on the bass drum.
All hardware is original and appears in good condition. Some pitting all over, and the bass drum hoops and bass drum legs have some traces of pitting that have been polished away.
New heads were fitted to the set in 2023. The set has only been used at one live gig after changing the heads and are in very good condition.
Remo Emperor Ebony batter and Remo Diplomat reso on toms. Evans EQ3 clear with patches for double pedal and Remo PS3 white front with Sonor logo on bass drum.
New haeds to the value of NOK. 4281.-
The drum kit is sold as a shellpack.
Stands, snare drum, cymbals etc. can be bought as extras.
