as Sadly I am not moving to 4.x until they get better Character animation and cloth physics system but it will be in my orders page, on blender market, when the time comes

not sure if you modeled that by yourself, but i lowkey want to know the workflow.. I've been wanting how to learn to make stone / block like structures that are cohesive for awhile. I have trowel but obviously it isn't meant for stuff like that.

I love what this addon can do with objects, but any editing I do in edit mode is disregarded when I add damage, say, I elongate a cube in edit mode. when I click Make Damage, the cube goes back to being a equilateral cube.

I purchased this addon but it takes a looong time to process each piece. Is this normal? I have an AMD Radeon 6600 8GB VRAM GPU, a Ryzen 9 5950X CPU and 64 Gb of RAM. Is this normal for a definitely not cheap PC? I'm working with around 120 objects at a time, and I know the video is speeded up, but takes a while and sometimes even crashes. I'm just using it as default, hadn't move that much other than the scale and amount %.
Thanks for reaching out! The processing time depends on the complexity and number of objects. Even with a strong PC, handling 120 objects at once is quite a task for Blender - we're not in Houdini territory! Try reducing the object count to improve performance. I appreciate your feedback and am continuously working to make the add-on better!
is the 2.0 version for 4.0+? Getting a lot of normal issues if i apply the hero mode on 3.6.
New HERO Module is designed for 4.0 +, as mentioned on the product page.
wow this new geo node setup is amazing! but why is the rest of the addon not in geo node?
Thanks! The rest isn't in geo nodes yet due to stability issues with GN Mesh boolean, but I'm looking into future updates.

Is there a way to apply OCD 2.0 only to selected face(s) of an object in Blender 4.0?
You can try assigning a separate material to your selection and use the 'HERO - Material Mask' without the 'HERO Start' and 'End' nodes, using only Displacement.

But... this implies that you build everything with separate 'stones'. That's a bit unusual to build like that. Also not very optimised.
