GORGEOUS VEHICLES, ALL!!!! Perhaps I am alone in my opinion that modern size wheels and tires don't compliment vintage wheel wells?

The build quality in all of the cars was exceptional. Wheels are one of those personal taste updates. When done right, they can enhance the updated look of vintage cars. When less than ideal sizes and designs are selected, it can detract from a beautiful build.

Its only in your mind that these vehicles could start up and drive down the road.

Cars were meant to be driven and I bet these all can be even though they’re show cars

@@Vpprretakez About what? Some, most, many of these cars are incomplete and were they capable of being driven, they are not. They are show cars, extremely beautiful.

It’s iconic! My first time seeing one of the original Monkeemobiles. If you love the Ed Roth and George Barris cars, check out the video I shot of the Galpin hot rod collection. Cars you’ve probably never seen before!

I was there on Move In Night and stayed to 9:PM and never seen many of the cars in your video which came in after I left and set up. They must of worked all night before the show and when I left I still seen a lot of trailers outside waiting to come in and many of these cars in your video were still in their trailers at that time. 👍

It took me hours to get these 5 videos, so make sure you check them all out. Incredible builds that I’ve never seen before and I live in SoCal, where we have the Grand National Roadster Show and more.

They’ve completely abandoned the original concept of customizing cars in the fifties. We changed the looks as much as we were able b/c we didn’t have that much money. And, as often as we polished and washed, we drove them every day. These are trophies. Beautiful trophies; but far removed from the custom culture. And, I can’t imagine the money they’ve spent on them!

Very true. Now it’s a multi-billion dollar industry and manufacturers have made it more difficult and costly to modify modern cars. Many of the top hot rods in the country are 7 figure builds that take 5-15 years. I personally don’t want a perfect car that I’m afraid to drive.
