I was there two years ago. Nice cars, trucks, and motorcycles. I had a good time. In fact, a week AFTER the 2020 Detroit Autorama, the COVID-19 pandemic happened. By the way, very nice vid.
Great job Mr. Topwater. You record nicely. I’m always picking your videos over the rest. Love your video, a lot less talking and just the way you film the cars! Nicely done... A fan.
Topwater Tony, you've done it again, another OUTSTANDING! video, reminds me of 1974? Going with my old man to an auditorium in White Plains New York for a show kind of like this, you could pick up a program of all the custom cars on the circuit, these cars sadly will never see any time on the street, but who could blame them, they are rolling pieces of art!
YESSSSS THANK YOU !!!! I also remember getting the souvenir programs back in the day... also as a kid and then a young adult.... man those were the days :) I love going to these shows and getting videos for everyone to see and look back on :))))))
Great job as always Tony, didn't run into you at the show...lol I shot paint back in the 70's in a body shop and one that caught my eye was this at 0:52 and the make you think award is the Suburban at 17:22 with plenty going on. It is a hard choice to have a favorite since the build level is high, but still got to Love the Rat Rods.
Yeah the Suburban was a very cool idea and that truck was SIIICK !!! I had too many favorites at this one...... lotsa choices.... Thanks soo much i'm glad you like my videos !!! more coming ....
Trillions like and best comment for you because you are best on Earth and follower respect you,we need videos in Real 120fps or 240fps 4K,8K and Sound in FullHD 3D
I love it, boy I missed a great show those cars are all works of art a person could eat off anyone of those cars and not get a lint of dirt on ye sandwich! I will not miss anymore shows like that because of sleep! Please forgive me!
At 20:43, when I see a Dodge Daytona or Plymouth Superbird, I think of a convertible version of one. I've seen convertible versions of these but I'd have two additions. One; a custom hard tonneau cover (over rear seats) with aero fairings behind the high back bucket seats (panel between seats) and two; a roll-bar similar to a Porsche Targa but a bit wider at the base and the back seat glass rolls up just (.25") in front of it.
About lockdowns, I was watching 2 ste0 battles when I got the notification and there is this 3 series at my high-school that has 2 step and back fire and he had it for the first time so when he revved it, it sounded like gunfire and both the middle and high-school went on lockdown.
Always enjoyed a great show so thanks for this one. Very well shot and recorded. As much as I love the car stuff I also find the floor work and presentation platforms intriguing. I recall as a kid I thought; OH@F! look at that....they did the undercarriages too.
Well, I was going to express my disappointment at not showing a Corvair but downstairs (34:02) you showed a Greenbrier. There may have been other Corvairs in the background but I didn't spot any. ;-) It's a shame I was unable to build any of my concepts.
Had to watch that with the sound turned of. Some fantastically turned out cars, loads of big buck stuff going on, but there's just something missing..... It would be more interesting to see what they could do if you had a set budget, say $20,000....
Completely blown away by the quality of the video. Absolutely hated that there were so few shots of the complete side of vehicle within the photo frame. Way way too many closeup shots without an accompanying complete vehicle shot!
I loved the modified AMC Gremlin because it is so different! Count how many 1st gen Camaro's & 1st gen Mustang's you see...they are everywhere! Those 2 cars are so over done, only cookie cutter people who are terrified of being different build a 1st gen camaro or mustang. People with no imagination build the same car as 10 million other people.
