Another great video, thanks. Could you please do a video on the Motional Pad function, it would be so helpful. I don’t think you have done a video on that function. 😎👍
Great videos - thanks. Yeah, the arp is very limited when trying to play multiple zones live - I always end up just recording each different arp type into the pattern sequencer. Then, use the pads to trigger the various clips/zones. Maybe in the next update we will get something better, i-arp would be great.
Well explained....the limitations explained by you are keeping me away from fantom ....I have Juno DS and the same structure is also in that only one type of arp .......Yamaha arp is much better than Roland ❤❤
The problem with this piano is that it doesn't have V piano sounds and it doesn't have after touch. I was going to buy it but I decided on montage 6 which has better piano sounds than Fantom 0.
Great Info! Would it be possible to create your own pattern for arpeggios? And how many user banks for arrpegio is allocated? The FA06 has only 16 user arps
Fully agree with you on this being the weakest part…. I asked Roland’s director here in Europe about it, Peter Schreurs, and he came with a weird story about copy rights when using more then a single arp…. He could not explain why their own Jupiter X has 4 i-arps. So all Roland has to to is bring i-arp for all 16 channels to the Fantom.. and while they are at it, also bring the harmony function of the jupiter 80 (also midi based).
The Arppegios editor on Fantom-0 series is Exactly the same than on FA-06/07/08 series, but without the Arpeggios pattern editing/loading features.... Very disappointed, when you know that the FA06/07/08 series was designed 10 years ago ! Come on Roland !! Wake up !!
Great video, I love my Fantom -O6
Super
Just got the 08. My first synth. Overwhelming! Thanks for the information!
Enjoy the 08…

Ok, will do, thank you
@@soundformore Thanks, looking forward to the video. I really enjoy your tutorials, very easy to follow. 😎👍

Arps are the weak point of Roland for sure…

I can understand that…

Not yet, I hope they add that in soon
Can chord memory and the arpeggiator be used at the same time?
Yes they can

I agree…it seems a way to force the sales of another product but to me it is an essential missing feature of a workstation…
@@soundformore Totally agree, as I am originally interested in this board...

I agree…
I would never pay the money for a Fantom far too expensive for what you get.
I have to agree when it comes to the the current big brother Fantom 6/7/8…
