- In this recording of a recent Facebook Live, Julia provided an overview of her upcoming cookie art competition and answered viewers' lingering questions about it. As a reminder, Julia's competition is in person this year at That Takes the Cake (TTTC) Show in Austin, TX, starting on March 31, 2023. Julia - Your cookie swap book started me on my slow journey into cookie decorating. Will you be doing any sort of meet and greet?
Oh, you should consider entering! What's holding you back? Maybe I can persuade you otherwise! :) I'm not doing a formal "meet and greet", but I will be on the show floor judging most of Saturday. When I'm not judging, I'll be milling about and free/super happy to talk with people. On Sunday, I'm doing a short demo in the Cookie Track, so you'll also find me there - and presenting cookie awards later. Hope to see you there!
I miss your videos making 3d cookie art
Thanks! I still make them; I am just selling them now on my website. They are quite expensive to make and I can't afford to give them away for free anymore; the ad revenue here does not cut it, unfortunately. Please check out the tutorials section of my site, www.juliausher.com.
@JuliaMUsher I totally understand and with the prices of everything now, I would imagine you would need to sell the tutorials. I will definitely look into them I have been following you for a very long time and doing many of your cookie projects.
