@@charlestonho6733 Nope. That was a rumor squashed during the 30 Reveal stream. He said that such clause didn't exist and he'd love to return. But Terada said "It's not the time yet." Guess I'll have to remind for a long time until the time comes.
if SRW has proved me anything in the several games I have played... The classic grand-daddy mechas are some of the most broken things and you can't go wrong with them. Tryder, Daitarn, Zambot, Combattler, etc. They're all great.
I like that the animations almost always start with a close-up of a full-sized Combattler V, only showing SD sprite entering the frame (like everyone else) twice. I also like how it's framed as if to convey Combattler's size.
Shailo: why? Why im can't win? Hyoma: bit*ch because Combatter v is super electromagnetic robot you cannot defeat it just because it big don't mean it slow
I mean, there's not exactly a ton you can *do* with most of the gundams. Like, they have the ace protag units with some special moves...but the franchise tends to present the various mechs as military or prototype units intended for mass production rather than unique builds. U.C Gundam in particular is guilty of this, where the original Gundam was literally just a prototype that would become the basis of the backbone of the Federation's MS forces with the GM series. In the end, there's little difference between a Gundam and a Zaku. They're just different lines of Mobile Suits. Of course, then you get series like G Gundam (which went full Super) and Wing with it's crazy unique designs and weapon setups. But even then, Gundams don't get *too* wild for the most part. They want to be seen as a "hard science" series with more realistic consequences. Exceptions being G Gundam, and whatever the fuck the Gundam Red Astray is. Never knew a Gundam could go to the gym. But yeah, the reason so many Gundams reuse weapons is because the weapons, themselves, are mass produced or intended as such. In the same way most soldiers would have a similar set of equipment depending on their role, many Mobile Suits share the same set of weapons.
While I do think the new arrangement could've been better, you have to remember that Hyoma's VA is 67, which is going to have an impact on his voice. Honestly, the fact that the staff had him record new lines at all was a miracle.
The srw series shows that you must never mess with the classic mechas
Even if they look silly as hell
@@gerard935you can laugh at the silly bots, just be okay with it scrambling your insides seconds later if you do
@@aokyoutsuki7744 it's the silly that makes them fun.
I really like that Combattler V's attack animations got some love here.
The animation for Combattler V is amazing well done. We need Daimos and Voltes V(not as DLC) in a game next time.
Daimos cannot add in anymore thanks to Akira Kamiya retirement clause aka cannot use his recording on any media
@@charlestonho6733 Damn. And I don't think Banpresto will replace him to respect his character. Well at least Voltes V has a chance.
@@misora25chan That why we havent see any Mecha series with Akira Kamiya voice since SRW Z

That's sad, I loved Daimos
What's not to like about a robot that beats stuff up with a giant set of yo-yos and has "win win win" in its theme song?

do not forgot the Mazinger a great super robot if not the grandfather of them all.

For me that is epic but they forgot 1 combo
He needs to use twin lance
Before he can fire the battle chainsaw

In the 2012 videos it was blitzing through all of the enemy’s. Like Jesus Christ that fucker was fast
Respect the classics! 🧐
Dammit, I should have chosen the super robot route
The combattler v theme fits hard after spin goes through
Kombatora Bui 30.000 Atomic Burner 😱😋
3:00 I agree that it looks cool and the concept is great.
still WHY!?!?!? You could just fly!!
oh god I was so worried it was King Gainer theme lol.
Voltes V Characters and Casts For The Philippine Broadcasting.
His Vocal song is best.
Grandasher!
super robots get fancy attack animations while the gundams only get beam laser, beam sword, funnels
Super robots is where the shit is at

Hyomas voice acting just isn’t hype enough
The theme for combattler this time ain’t hype either like it was in alpha

Dunno why, but the Combattler theme seems oddly quiet compared to the other themes in this game.
@@shinnbidan7536 He has acted as Kamoshida, the Chad PE teacher(before he gets defeated) of Persona 5.
Combattler V > Voltes V
Original is best. 💙
I wish Combattler would get a remake. Might generate more attention for it then.
