Both INFJ and INTJ seem to build complex inner models of how things work - a lot of conscious and unconscious energy goes into that so we are very committed to these. We tend to only show bits of them to the outside world, where people often see us as bringing out ideas that are debatable, but of course we may see them as part of a complex structure and are reluctant to give way easily because that can bring our whole inner model crashing down. I think INTJs and INFJs react differently to this - the Fs don't like conflict so you'll either get a false agreement from them, or passive agressive behaviour, but the Ts have no problem with conflict and can be quite devastating with a put-down that cuts to the bone because of its insightfulness. I think this is why some people find the Ts seem arrogant, but it's really a defense mechanism because it's no small thing to lose a complex insight. I think the trick is for all dominant Nis to learn to context shift between perspectives - to accept many different "world-views" even when they are incompatible. After all Ni is a perceiving not a judging function so this is quite possible. This gives us an ability to be guests on others' conceptual ground and that is a precious ability. I'm not talking about losing integrity here - we will always have our home perspective which is where we live, but we can wear other clothes when we need to. If we can do this then sometimes two separate perspectives merge together, and that is a quite magic learning experience for a dominant Ni.

Great info! I am an INFJ (who places Ti above Fe) and my partner is an INTJ with intentionally evolved Fe and it is an incredible match. We feel like such kindred spirits. The similarities are amazing, and the differences are cool in the way that we can balance one another out when it comes to F/T.

As an INFJ I can say that the best people to talk to are INFJs, INTJs, INFPs, ENFJs, and ENFPs. I have talked to all of those (besides other INFJs), and can say that they are very nice to talk to.

I love my intj best friend! We are both in tune with each other. Although, she doesn't point it out but I do. For example she will never tell me her problems unless I say " hmm are you okay?...I just feel like your holding something back" she hates it when I do that but later vents out to me.😂
Yay! I just found your channel! Well, I stumbled upon it once upon a time and found it once again and clicked on your channel and I have to say I’m super excited to go through as much as I can. I was an infj in denial for a while. Not sure why, I think I struggled with accepting the fact that I am who I am but this was mostly in my early 20’s. Nevertheless, I’m a proud INFJ and am learning so much about myself and I can’t help but chuckle at some of the things because of its accuracy. My INTJ husband and I have been married for almost 6 years (8 years together) and I’ve never looked back. I was one to get tired of relationships very quickly and even became extremely distant when I was ready to leave before I even knew it. I ghosted before ghosting was even a thing lol. When I met my husband we clicked and fell in love immediately. I can honestly say that before we met each other, neither o e of us had plans of getting married let alone have kids and here we are! Anyway, I was always afraid to hear what the MBTI would say about my husband and I because I didn’t want to hear that we weren’t a great fit because I definitely feel that way so I decided to take the leap and sure enough, we’re a great fit. I am an INFJ and I am close with my INTJ cousin. Every Eid (its equal vibe is like thanksgiving celebration in America I guess) all of my big extended family members gather in my granny's house. Almost none of the relatives talk to her but me. If I wasn't there she would spend all day in her room playing her PSP or read mangas with headphone on.

It's a bit of a long story, but to cut it short, we had a public moment of extroversion that allowed us to connect and find similarities which were then fostered and grew. We like to talk about big ideas and big dreams as well as analyzing how everything works. Deconstructing things so that we can find the benefits in them and utilize what good we find in our own lives.
Not true, we INTJ have lots of empathy for those we care about. We just don't know how to show it with words. Displays of emotion don't come natural to us.
I'm an infj and I met a guy who is a typical intj. before I knew about this I felt we connected really well and I thought it was mysterious. I guess the personality type is the reason. However, I find it really hard to open him. I know he's interested but I just can't get closer. Seems like he doesn't want enter a relationship easily and since he's busy and cautious about covid he's not keen to spending more time with me. I'm very confused and frustrated. Sometimes I think I should just give up but I know another man like him won't show in five minutes.

Happened with me as well. It is so close. At some places you behave logically while other places you let your heart make the choice. Haven't figured out what it means though.
I have run into far too many INTJ..s who are arrogant, so friendships or intimate relationships are out of the question for me. Nonetheless, I have had some interesting conversations with them.
INTJs are often oblivious as to how they sound. They lack subtlety, and this comes off as arrogance. Basically, INTJs can be socially retarded. I don't think they want to hurt your feelings, unless you are an enemy. INTJs are soft on the inside and are often hurt and confused if they learn that someone dislikes them.
I also have an entp, intp, another infj, 2 infp, Isfp, 2 istp, istj and an enfp in my friend group. I dont know why im mentioning this but I feel like I really want to

I think before we can context shift we have to be grounded in our reality (Se) so that our inner world isn't as liable to collapse
