Good times in Jolly Harbour, Antigua

- #jollyharbour Harbour is a very safe and well maintained Marina. We had put the “Lady Nathalie’ in the secure Marina Boat Yard on dry dock for our summer season. Here I am actually just coming back from the Boat Yard and thought why not show you what it is like in the Marina area.
It was so nice to see the boy fishing and bringing back this great fish. You can hire “Fish Tail” to take you out to sea for deep sea fishing. They’re all view boats that go out early in the morning right here from the harbour.
There are many great restaurants, stores and produce markets in the village they call it “Parish” here.
When we need a place to stay for a view days we go to the #Jolly Castle” It is very unique however it is not very accessible if you have issues walking etc.

Glad you enjoyed it. yes that was a big fish “Tapins” they have at least 15 swimming around when the boats come back. They do get the leftover stuff and know the sound of the boats coming back.

I especially like it when you show us around the jolly beach hotel and grounds as I got married there 29 years ago.
We visited the marina for walks as well
We hope to return next year for our 30th anniversary and stay for a couple of weeks, hopefully the entertainment will be up and running by then.

Yes that Jolly Beach Resort is beautiful for sure. I am happy to see it open again. This Marina has become our home as we are sailing there. We hope to be back to take our “Lady Nathalie” back out in to the water in November or early December. Wow 29 Years that is fantastic. So happy for you. Perhaps we can meet up when your celebrating Your 30th this combing season.
We went on a trip with Captain Franko on a glass bottom boat that was really good, I don’t if he’d be still around now, he was a very friendly guy
I have not seen the glass bottom boat at all in Jolly Harbour Marina. I think they have them closer where the Sandels Resort is. They all are so friendly most of the time. You have to go to Shirley Heights with “Franklin” see the video I posted he is truly fun fellow.
