1:48 A dark type laid the spikes via Ceaseless Edge, so those spikes are DARK typed Edit : it was water, Samurott-H is water. Depends on the setter's PRIMARY typing
If it was water wouldn't arc take 50%? Even if sun halves it, it'd be 25% then, not the normal 12.5% spike dmg right? I think dark type spikes is the only thing that would make sense here.
This metagame is literally broken. Ceaseless Edge spikes sometimes count as Water, and sometimes as Dark. I brought in Archaludon and took half damage, then brought in Glimmora and took neutral Damage.... That actually almost cost me the game because I was planning on Sac-Spinblocking
I would have liked more an "armed and ready" format where pokemons can have 2 items by replacing a move with the item, just imagine all the crazy combinations, choice band with choice scarf, life orb with flame orb, loaded dice and metronome. It would be crazy
0:34 Burn damage depends on user's primary type fore example if volcarona inflicts burn through flame body the burns damage will depend on the targets bug type resistance or fire
Wait does recoil demage work with abilitys? Like for example flare blits with flash fire? If so i could see flareon of all the mons work nicelly with choice scarf to offset the mid speed stat, with flareblits in the sun demage for extra demage and with STAB flash fire boost a and sun combined with the base 130 attack i could see flareon killing resists
Not gonna lie, the new OMs for the month are kinda weak. The first day they came out, there were already no more than 2 or 3 battles going on. Probably just gonna stick to AAA this month since AAA UU gets rid of my whole team

1. Life Orb Zoroark-Hisui. Life Orb damage is normal type so it wont affect Zoroark cuz of ghost type so free boost.

Honestly i thought they'd do water damage..
Oh, I see that's actually crazy
And with sun up water damage is halved so back to normal spikes damage
If it was water wouldn't arc take 50%? Even if sun halves it, it'd be 25% then, not the normal 12.5% spike dmg right? I think dark type spikes is the only thing that would make sense here.
Plus, walking wake took normal dmg too, but if it was water it should've taken 1/4 of the spike dmg.
Can't wait for "aggressive"
Lol

There's an OM where the pokemon's ability is removed such that it can hold 2 items
You know when I look at passive moves in this new mode like Will-o-Wisp and Toxic they're just Salt Cure in a way xD

I think, that could work but I'm still not sure
Only Levitate users are immune to the grounded passive damage.
4:35 wtf is that grookey doing there 💀
He tryna fit in
Ceaseless edge take the primary typing of the pokemon it comes in contact with, so since you hit a grass type with it, the spike was grass.
Oh, I see
@dracomenace I'm unsure if that was intentional or not but yeah
pretty boring OM imo
