I replaced a floor that way on time... by putting a new floor over the old floor. I sealed and glassed the floor after it was installed. Unfortunately it rotted from the bottom. Water never entered through the top, it was all sealed off, but moisture came from the underside and rotted it all.

We let it dry in the sun for days. So we where sure there was no moist anymore. Hopefully we will have more luck!

I bet that flooring wasn't cheap . A sheet of plywood is crazy expensive
