      After seeing an interview, I think that the firelight flying out of Powder's mouth is actually teasing/symbolizing a deleted scene we probably will be seeing in S2 because I think this will be more explored than just a quick flash back. The creators were short on time in S1 anyways and I think that this flashback might actually spoil that a comeback for Powder was impossible anyways even in ep6, when things were still looking feasable without that flashback. Here the video for the deleted scene:

      Wait i just realized something. In the show vi says powders good with her gadgets which are technology. And vi gift is fighting which is her physical strength. Vi is pink and jinx is blue. When vi gets hextech golves which are technology jinx gets shemer which inhances you're physical skills. Hextech is blue shemer is pink. A little bit of powder exist in vi and little bit of vi exists in power. Like yin and yang. Also vi wearing the hextech can remind vi how powder used to be and shemer can mean powder finally became strong like her hero.

    It's kinda funny you caught the flash to Jinx when the firelight comes out of her mouth that everyone seemed to miss, but missed the flash when she's pointing her finger guns at the enforcers that everyone seemed to catch. Also, the MV is a bit weird in the sense that it kind of needs to be seen after episode 3 as to not spoil the 'Jinx is Powder' reveal and her emotional issues for those who go in completely blind on the series and lore, but before episode 7 to give more weight to what happens at the end of that episode.

    honestly the ekko vs jinx scene is my favorite scene by far and I love it because they managed to pump out so much context and storytelling within a few seconds, without any dialogue. And it worked better for me at lease because we never saw them playfighting or even hanging out all that much before.

    For people who haven't watched the show (yet), this MV is super awesome.
    For people who KNOW the show, it's at the same time super awesome and fucking haunting.
    You can't appreciate it without knowing what it's about because it's wonderfully crafted (the dedication of Riot Games and Fortiche, Jesus) and the song is catchy, but in order to FULLY enjoy it, you have to know Arcane.

    We briefly see Ekko's big single wheel vehicle outside of benzo's shop right after we first meet Ekko and he goes outside to show Claggor how his fighting skills are "coming along".

    They had more scenes of the "Lanes Gang" as I like to call them(Young Vi, Powder, Mylo, Claggor,"Little Man" Ekko) and they were debating whether to set up the Powder/Jinx and Vi fall out more or let Episode 3 speak for itself for the most part in that respect because of Mia`s heartbreaking performance but ultimately they chose the latter and I think that was the right option.

    1:22 Newer League cinematics are definitely better to react to than older ones. League cinematics tend to differ in tone from each other quite a lot, but in general I suggest checking out the Legends of Runeterra promo cinematics for the regions. No need of any prior League knowledge for those and it's a generally good introduction to the regions in the League universe.

    • @severedproxy
      @severedproxy 3 года назад

      Agreed, the focus changes as well. The older videos focuses on promoting the game, then it switches to focusing on esports, and currently the cinematics are more lore focused. Also I agree that the newer, lore focused cinematics are better and more entertaining to watch.

    Ask Hannibal Lector what the moth (firelight) coming out of Powder's mouth symbolizes!
    "The significance of the moth is change. Caterpillar into chrysalis, or pupa, from thence into beauty"
    I love how the video seems to tell a small story - Vi and the gang hang around in the market, make their mark - look how focussed Vi is - and Powder jinxes it. I think she and Ekko were supposed to distract the Enforcers. Vi gets beaten up, and shook down by the enforcers as Powder watches, guiltily. Powder and Vi row in their bedroom, and Vi storms off, whilst Powder goes upstairs to the bar. The sisters reuinite (right at the start) and hug it out. This time.

    In relation to Arcane easter eggs, I suggest you : Get Jinxed, Burning Bright | Star Guardian Music Video and Ekko: Seconds :)

  • @grapehool

    If you know nothing about league except arcane check out warriors music video
    After warriors, you should watch all the tales of runeterra videos. (runeterra is the name of the planet on which arcane is taking place on)
    there is no specific order to watch the cinematics though so don't stress too much about it.
    A few suggestions:
    Annie:Origins
    Kin of the Stained Blade
    Awaken
    Ekko:Seconds
    The Call
    Get Jinxed!
    There are over 150 cinematics i think. If not all you should atleast watch all the ones mentioned in this comment atleast

  • @AppleBaron
    @AppleBaron 2 года назад +6

    3:43 I would say it's quite the opposite. Ekko and Viktor are probably the most loved by fans characters outside Jinx and Vi (and maybe Silco). To the point that I would actually call them overrated. Don't get me wrong, I love them, I love all Arcane characters, but in terms of character writing and contribution to the story Viktor and Ekko are not among the best characters in my opinion. Jayce and Mel are definitely way more underrated.

    • @concettasorvillo3719
      @concettasorvillo3719 2 года назад

      I think it's because, in term of pure writing, Jayce and Mel are more common. She is a bit the femme fatale with politics skills and he is the classic from rags to riches pretty boy.
      I don't mean they are banal, in fact they use to reverse these two tropes to spice things, but surely we have to say that, as far as character building, Ekko and Viktor are more recognizable and interesting.
      Is the same motivation way, always speaking just about writing, Silco is more interesting and memorable than Vander: this one falls more into the trope, even if they use it in the best way possible and in fact he is a strong character after all.
      Plus people tends to love more the disadvantages characters or the underground, rebellious character than the establishment one such as Mel (and Jayce after is beginning)

    Ekko and especially Viktor are not underrated by any means LOL Ekko is a popular character in general and tons of people simp over Arcane Viktor funnily 😂 Also Ekko does have his own cinematic although kinda old since it was when he first released in league as well as another music video based on a skin (skins have lore with no connection to Arcane/League). There is also a Jinx music video that IS cannon as well and one of the episodes actually played/referenced this music video

    Reacting to league cinematics only work if you spend time learning who the champions are. The cinematics are amazing, but they require some knowledge of lore to actually understand who and where you are in the world. You can enjoy them by just watching them but knowing how you are and how you react what i would do is lean on patreon to tell you which champions are in each cinematic before you watch it, and then go read their bios before you react. Most bios are fairly short and will give you and idea of who they are which will allow you to appreciate the characters more. For example in one of them a character is laying siege to a castle of a couple other characters. It is beneficial to know that the reason for this is because the character was persecuted and thrown in jail for being a mage. So where someone automatically looking at it would be confused and automatically see him as the bad guy. Little do you know its because they "good guys" are dicks.
