Family medicine physician makes healthcare more accessible for Indigenous peoples

Family medicine physician Dr. Jennifer Parker makes healthcare more accessible for Indigenous peoples living in Alberta’s north by not only serving patients at her practice in High Level, but by travelling and meeting her patients in their own communities.
This is possible because she has formed partnerships with several remote communities, including the Dene Tha First Nation-owned health clinic in Meander River.
