- Hands down one of the best jazz-fusion groups I've discovered in recent years, led by Russian keyboard genius Valeriy Stepanov, who plays both vintage and modern synths, as well as drums and guitar. This is from their latest studio project "Album No.2". If you haven't given these guys a listen, they are some the best players in the world. Check 'em out:

Very pleasantly surprised to see you post Valery Stepanov here, Kyle. Valery is extraordinary, I have been following him for a while now. He even played with the legendary Chick (RIP).
He's my favorite modern fusion artist without a doubt. A true prodigy in every aspect.
No doubt!
Valeriy Stepanov and his crew members are bunch of talents folk
Wonderful! This kind of positive sound has something so very positive and reminds me of what bands like John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension did.
@@PFunk-vf1nh True! Also reminds me of George Duke’s material…Snapshot album comes to mind
perfect execution, Valery is a great musician with a vision of music beyond perfection!!!
It's nice to hear a compatriot on your channel. Thanks!🇷🇺
I just listened, this sounds great! I will have to check out more of his works 😺👍
Очень классный музыкант! Спасибо за ваш канал! A very cool musician! Thanks for your channel!
Great stuff. Glad to see some new stuff in this genre.
Kyle, I know the focus of this channel is primarily “The Era” of ( 80s-90s) Jazz-fusion and New music. In that, you feature the best of the best.
It’s cool, at times, you’ll carefully select a modern artist. V. S. clearly influenced by the great music of the past, creates a fresh approach that is stunningly beautiful.
Nice chords! Makes me think of the album Ask by Roberto gatto
this artist is in reach , as nice as it is please go ahead with your 70 80 90s archive ,thanks anyway!
Their jazz piano outro at around 5:25 is so smooth, I love it and want it to keep going. Where can I hear more of that sound?
You should try the track “Believe in Yourself” from the same album, it features Eric Marienthal for Sax, great sounds.
@@davidhs2007 I love this entire album, as well as his others including their live performances. Top tier composer/player
I have to contradict. Valeriy is THE best player in my opinion, even better than Jacob Collier.
New agey noodling melodies
Reminds me a little of Special FX.
I hate that it doesn't have real drums but instead these cheap Casio sounding "drums."
