The blue in the helmet is called the sonic boom helmet from the show not from the movie and the regular helmet is from the movie just to clarify why there are 2 helmets in this release
For those who don’t know Dc has a rule about not allowing guns to be used as accessories for their characters so I guess this was either Hot Toys lazily conforming to Dc’s rule because they had already made the sculpt or they intentionally did this to get around Dc’s self inflicted censorship. Either way cool for us collectors. I see what you did there Jeda lol.
They included a hand specifically to hold the gun, and a silencer to attach to it. It was 100% intentional.
I applaud hot toys for finding a work around the wb weapon censoring, reminds me of gun companies that get around certain manufacturing laws
Also reminds me of how video games use workarounds to avoid lawsuits by changing the name and certain aspects of a gun. Apparently some weapon manufacturers don’t want their weapons represented in games like CoD anymore.

I got it luckily. I whittled the peg a little with a knife then pushed out on it and got that peg unstuck pretty easily.
The fact that you can put the silencer on the gun pretty much let you know that hot toys made this figure for the gun to be used but Warner Brothers told them no don't have the weapon on the figure I wasn't going to get this figure but now I am I'll just put myself on the waitlist and find other places to get this piece
One of the reasons I didn't get this figure was that it didn't come with a head sculpt without the helmet.
I admire any collector who can withstand the temptation to leave the gun in the holster, like you, I would be busting that thing straight out of there.
Just got this figure and he’s fantastic! I only wish they would’ve included a unmasked sculpt but, either way it’s amazing. Loved you posing!
Great pickup. I'm curious over time will there be a blue stain from the sleeves of the shirt possibly leaving a blue stain on the upper arm base on the material they use.
If they can do that to finish to the helmet, then they can make a spectacular c3p0.

I loved the show and yes the original prototype photos were horrendous, I'm glad they went back and fixed the issues.
