Jessica quickly went on a meteoric rise from when she was just called a bimbo, as the woman King Kong loved, to a passionate performance of The Postman Always Rings Twice with Jack Nicholson in 1980, Won her first Academy Award for Tootsie in 1982, later that year gave in my opinion her greatest performance ever as Frances Farmer. It was a tour de force, Bravura performance. This is where she truly tapped something inside that lit her on fire! She should have won for that role as well. But was well publicized and got good ratings. And she wasn’t the Bimbo anymore but a serious actress who was going to be a legend of my generation. She’s talented, classy, beautiful and I hope she’s around for a long time!!! Love you Jesse!
