Honestly, most bartenders don't break out the jigger and get measurements that way... most just use a count and it gets you as close as you need to be in most situations.
@@souschefb5881 thats when there's a spout on the bottle, it is impossible to just count without one. If the bottle doesn't have a spout and your bartender is just winging it they're probably gonna pour heavy because it usually pans out better than the reverse.

All the measurements, tips, tools, shaking the ice, etc. It's part of what makes it so much more unique. If you're really into it than you can pair it with food or with a dessert, cigar after food, etc. There is always a drink (virgin or not) for every occasion.
