    Add even more loops to your G3 by using a Remote Loopy2
    TheGigRig G3 includes 2 sets of dual remote switches that can be used to control your amp channels, turn your amp reverb on and of, control external effects, and also control one of our Remote Loopy2's. his effectively adds another 2 true bypass passive effects loops to TheGigRig G2, G3, and G3 Atom

    I put a remote loopy 2 into one of my other loops and did the same thing but your idea works better
    It truly is 2 extra loops
    I kind of wasted a loop ( or had to have that loop on in order to use rl2
    Question
    I have a humdinger hooked to loop 1 to feed a separate bass rig through an octaver pedal (long story)
    I could use remote loopy’s 1st loop for my humdinger instead? As long as i have remote loopy before g2 like you do in this video right Dan?

    Hi Dan, big fan of TPS and last night discovered you're the owner of TGR. Very excited about ordering one of your Christmas G3 packages but wanted to find something important out, if you have time to entertain my question: can I precede a 6-stereo-pedal-inputed G3 with a 5 (i.e., 2-2-1)-mono-pedal-inputed EH Tri-Parallel Mixer (which is itself preceded by several mono serial-chained pedals), or would you say the G3 and TPM would (for whatever reason) not "get along nicely" (as you and Mick put it) in the aforementioned scenario? (I would of course eventually need to incorporate in and out buffers, no problem). Crossing my fingers. Thanks!

    Can you explain ...I think it's more than simplifying the tap dance. Is there a potential noise problem from two pedals in series in one loop?

    Wow! This is just fantastic. I just ordered a G3 but could really use 2 extra loops. I was thinking of putting two drive pedals in the same loop on G3 but this will free it up! Here’s to hoping that the components come in so I can order, one or maybe two? 4 extra loops right??

    I just had a thought, if you need more stereo loops, could you run two remote Loopy 2’s after g2/g3, for a stereo rig, and use one after the left g2 output and one after the right, basically adding an extra stereo loop. So for example, the tips would control the lefts and the Rings controlling the rights. U could even have say a stereo delay in loop 1 and a stereo reverb in loop 2 and have them set to a switch for stomp box mode perhaps. Lol you might have to offer the new “Stereo Remote Loopy” now

    • @marki7661
      @marki7661 Год назад

      Yeah I guess you would need all 4 remote switches to do this. RMT SW’s 1 and 3 could control the tip for the lefts and RMT SW’s 2 and 4 for the ring / rights. This kind of hurts my brain thinking about the paths without a pen and paper lol

    Is it possible to add the loopy 2’s loops in between the G3’s loops, or is it limited to the front and end of your pedal chain?

  • @Tanax13

    Can you chain 2 or multiple G3? I couldn't find anything on your website nor in the manual :) Let's say having 1 G3 for pre pre-amp pedals, and the other for post pre-amp pedals? I mean, I realize I can just hook them up separately, but obviously I would want them to "extend" each other, so if I press preset 2 on one of them, it should go to preset 2 on the other one as well, so it's effectively "one" system, just in 2 different parts of the signal chain.

    Hi Daniel, you are amazing!!! thank you for your incredible contributions to the music world!.... Can you help me understand if the 1-Spot power adapter would be able to power up the G2 without a problem? I own one, so i figured why not see if it will work and save me time of purchasing a double current adapter cable to use with my Zuma. the power specifications on the 1-Spot power adapters are as follows: INPUT VOLTAGE: 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz... OUTPUT VOLTAG: 9V 1700 mA Sleeve: Positive, Tip/Center: Negative... i'm worried that my G2 is faulty and it's not the power adaptor... but hopefully this is more of a faulty worry of mine. please help

    Does the Loopy 2 have a buffer? I think you can turn the buffer off or on for any loop you like on a G3 which is ideal for a Fuzz Factory, but with the loopy 2 at the start of the chain would that mean there’s now always a buffer ?

    • @TheGigRigDaniel

    Since I own one already, can I use an ML5 to add more loops to the G3? I’m getting an RJM Gizmo for my “small” MC8 rig so I will totally use the ML5 to add extra loops to my G3 if that works!

    • @TheGigRigDaniel
      @TheGigRigDaniel  Год назад +1

      Sure, just use the MIDI out of G3 to control the MC8. I would use the MC8 earlier in the chain, so you get the isolation from G3’s outputs 🤓👍
