    Got a GTX 1060 back in 2016 when I had a Dell Precision T5400 workstation with 2 of these... Oh, the bottleneck! It was definitely time to upgrade the whole system. Still got it under my desk though. For old times' sake.

      Wow, nice. Nice you have the dual CPU's installed.
      We have a t5400 at the moment wit 2 xeon x5450 cpu's. We are planning to a video on it at some point.

      We will see what we can do.
      At the moment we don't have the Q9550 on hand.
      But if we do come across one we will do a video on it.
      Thanks for watching.

    0:37 what pc is that

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад

      We think the case is a Thermal Take Versa.
      The PC itself is a socket 775 modified motherboard running a modified Xeon e5430 to fit the lga 775 motherboard.
      We hope that Helps,
      Thanks for watching.

    Can i play minecraft java edition??

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад

      If you have a pc like this. Yes it should do. Though it might struggle at times.
      The windows 10 edition is written in C++.
      C++ is a lot closer to the hardware when it comes to programming so the performance of an application written in C++ is far greater than Java.
      So windows 10 edition will run very well on a PC like this. So that's our recommendation but we understand that the modding community has a lot more options on the JAVA version of mine craft.
      Thanks for watching.

    whether the quad q8400 GTA 5 will not experience stuttering, because there is a thread I don't know about it, and does the GHz speed affect the occurrence of stuttering?.

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  2 года назад

      The more processing power you have the less stutter you generally will have. So a higher clock frequency will help.
      Stutters can come down to a few things.
      Slow CPU, Slow GPU and Also slow drive speed reading (sometimes Low Ram will make this worse).
      A higher frequency (overclock) will improve the processing performance on whatever device you overclock.
      An overclock on a Q8400 would most definitely help in GTA V if you have a half-decent video card that can do the graphics. The q8400 does basically have enough threads/cores to run GTA V but overclock on the CPU will help it crunch through that level data it needs to keep loading as you move through the world.

      @@OFFbitTech what if my motherboard doesn't support overclocking the CPU, is there any app that can overclock the CPU?

    I have a core 2 duo e8500 and a geforce gtx 660 what FPS do I have in genshin impact?

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад

      We would imagine you would get about 35fps or so on average with low settings at a resolution of 1280x720.
      We did a video with an e7500 and a GTS450.
      Which you may want to have a quick look at.
      ruclips.net/video/4jBguoMzlRU/видео.html
      Your pc should run it a little bit better, but your cpu will be holding back your gtx 660 I would imagine.
      But your should be able to get it playable on your system. Expect some load lag at times. But it should be fine to play over all. Your load lag should be a little bit less than our system we tested due to your extra l2 cache.
      We hope that helps.
      Thanks for watching.

      Unfortunately you will need to launch into actual the game to get to the settings menu.
      There is a heap of cut scenes and stuff like that you need to go through first.
      The first time we did this it took a little while.
      Due to the same issues you are having.
      Once you get to the settings menu turn everything down. Video and details back.
      The alternate would be to go into the registry and change the game video settings.
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Genshin Impact
      Just need to run regedit and finding that location.
      changing screen resolution height and width in there.
      Another trick is to set you windows resolution down.
      The game will then launch at that resolution.
      you will still need to turn details settings back once you are in the actual game.
      We hope that helps.

    No power consumption data of the overall system from the wall? Such info would be helpful.

      Good idea,
      we will look at adding that to future videos.

    Q9450 overheat?

    • @OFFbitTech
      @OFFbitTech  3 года назад +2

      The e5430 has a better power efficiency than the Q9450. But this CPU Xeon E5430 was very much on the end of the temperature range that it should be at when it was working hard.
      So yes I would say the Q9450 would over heat with the stock core 2 duo cooling system that we used.
      The system from this video is going to be spending the rest of it's life as an office and web browsing PC with the maybe Spotify and a few other programs running in the background.
      So this machine will never game after this video.
      But if it was for a gaming rig or something more demanding we would of definitely put in a better fan & heatsink solution.
      Thanks for watching.
