I like this song on JESUS. Thank God that my brother and I survived a ghastly accident 2 weeks ago on Ibadan/ Lagos highway in Nigeria. The driver lost concentration and control of the steering on the highway and immediately hit the fence demarcating the highroad. Then the car started moving abnormally in a circle many times and later it moved to the bush beside a big, cemented open ditch and started somersaulting, it stopped to somersault further toward the big open ditch after mentioning JESUS loudly. Rescuers and road safety staff that came immediately with the ambulance were surprised that we survived. We were later informed by the crowd of passers-by who came to rescue that this was the 4th time an accident had happened at that particular spot and place recently, but we survived. We were not injured. Indeed, Jesus is our Great rescuer. God is a very present help in times of trouble. God of miracle intervened immediately and preserved our lives.
2 or 3 years ago on Easter we sang this song, after church my family came over and I preformed this for them, now I'm 9 and I'm going to preform it to them again on Easter!!

It's tricky to give equal air time for each of these outstanding singers. Would have expected more than two lines of solo part from Guy Penrod given his stature as long-time soloist of the famed Gaither Vocal Band. But the fact that he was ok with his bit part shows how much respect he has for the other three. And that's how it must be in the service of our Lord. No role is too small for His glory.

chris adams Hey man I had to make up a playlist of Days of Elijah sang by the Marines. My 3 year old son loves it and keeps him happy with a his "hoorah" song. Try it, it will repeat over and over, worth it. This is worthy song to the Lord to do it.

(I like the Marine version too) My daughter's church is near Fort Leonard Wood, Mo and they do Soldier's Church every Sunday night. Dozens of soldiers come by bus to church. It is so awe inspiring to hear these young people praise God.
